Its still heartbreaking to think of what happened to Natalie on that tragic night and I just hope this new investigation (under Jerry Brown's watch again!) can be more successful than the 'whitewash' of 81! because there's more proof than ever that she could have been saved if her husband could have been bothered to notify the coastguard (common practice at sea!)then the world wouldn't have lost one of its brightest stars and the beautiful,talented,sweet Natalie Wood wouldn't have lost her life!

What a lovely song and actress. She was one of the all time greats. I was at the Catalina site where she was drowned. It was a strange site for such a lovely lady to die. Drowned in that deep water right next to a huge cliff. What her boat was doing docked there was a mystery to all. What a tragedy. She will always be remembered. So sad. !!!!

I was only 8 years old when she drowned in 1981, so I did not discover her until years later. She was a beautiful woman. Robert Wagner and her other husband Richard Gregson were lucky, they both had children with her. Her children Natasha and Courtney are babes as well.
