  • I put these wing slats on and they help a lot! Thanks!

  • Thanks for your comment. I keep hoping the manufactures will incorporate some of these fixes. Have you modified a Rolling Fury? It would be fun to compare results.

  • no, not yet but I have just bought one off ebay and will soon be modding it.

  • My modifications were really simple. I made a bi plane with the same type of wings. Not very fast but incredible lift! Then the tanks on the outer edge of the wing i cut off. Why: Adds weight and drag. w/o it i can fly much higher and faster. more manuverable. This airplane is a tough litte bugger, and a fast one. Get top speed by doing this, get to 40- 50 feet in the air, ansd do a nose dive. I hope they bring these back! best airhogs ever!! Luv u rolling fury!

  • i'd love to see a pic or vid of your biplane fury.

  • srry it got destroyed in a pond =(

Wind was to strong, it oept flying up and i lost control, and it crashed in the pond. srry =( just happend yesterday

  • i just put the wing stats on mine and it looks awesome. cant

wait to try it out! i also took the receiver wire from the tail and ran it back up the fuselage and out to the tip of the wing so

now ill have far better reception. I took the spring out of the

throttle too and added an extra battery in the radio, now its 9v

  • Yea jhappy, Hope you have as much fun as I have. If you still have reception problems try adding 15 cm to the antenna. It would be fun to hear how it worked for you. Keep in touch. Thanks, Dave

  • hey, thats a great idea dave thx. i'll tell ya, you cant go wrong

with the fury . i have a few other planes. i have a piper cub, a

piece of cake glider, as well as a big stick from great planes.

this plane may be much smaller but much cheaper and the

best part is no worries about crashing it. It's great!

  • hey starbuck, i was wondering if i should keep the nose cone

on that was sent with the plane or not. i noticed you have tape

on yours. im just wondering if i should just use tape as well?

guess i'll just have to check the center of gravity on the plane first. maybe i'll have less weight using the tape.

  • mine has tape over the two nose cones. if you crash into a hard surface without the cones or tape the nose can break off.

  • i see, well in that case i'll be sure to go ahead and put them on with the tape. thanks alot for the info, and by the way thats very

good video. very much appreciated that you took the time to

post it, those wing slats really make the plane fly well. i love the way it makes the plane look too.

  • All of these modifications are amazing, so many planes I've bought have been dissapointing. Why don't the companies who make the planes just look at all of these modifications and add them so we don't have to?

  • Very nice job! I own all of the air hog planes and I love to fly them except for the Rolling Fury. It is a difficult plane to fly. I wished I ran across this video before I gutted it. I recently took the bigger motors off the Rolling Fury and transplanted them onto the new Air Hogs F18 and WOW! By far the best Air Hogs plane! If you are into modding and you own the new F18 try it. I would be curious to know what you think.

  • That is a cool idea. I don't know if I have the guts to alter my plane just yet.

  • i just bought this i have a question about this plane, is it fully made out of epp foam, and is it breakable, or is it easy to break

  • It is EPP and is relatively durable. It is fast so if you run into a hard surface at speed it can break. On a grass field it would be difficult to break

  • Target, Wal-mart, Kmart have all carried them. They may have phased them out. Try on line - Silverlit X-Twin Pro Air Acrobat or Air Hogs Rolling Fury. Same plane. Good luck.

  • i finally found it!....but after i blew all my money on a parkzone ember

  • where can i get this plane in the US? ive tried target but havnt had any luck...

  • Just bought this thing and I'm psyched!...dark out, maybe I'll rip the Stop and Shop parking lot...sould be empty and well lit for some night acrobatics and antics !

  • i have a question. What is washout?

  • I put the wing slats on my rolling fury and it flies much better than before! The stock one falls alot in the direction you want to steer it in if you do it to hard. But with the wing slats it hardly ever crashes for me!!!

  • Very glad your having good luck with your Fury. I just bought my third. After a while the motors loose a little power.

  • what are the 9mm extensions

  • slightly more stable in pitch. not a must.

  • the uhu glue you recommend, is that UHU Creativ for ploystyrene foam and craft foils? If not, is that one safe for the epp foam? There are many types of UHU glue and I have no idea what one you are referring to, this one was one that looked like it would work esp since it specified foam. Thanks

  • i still cant get my slats right

  • i cant cut my slats right..

  • how well does this mod work (slats), in contrast to just doing washout? I've been doing the washout, and it seems to make the plane about 10% more stable.

  • washout makes it 20% better slats makes it another 20% better. Honest!

  • do you think this would work on an x-twin? they are about the same looking, and about the same speed.

  • worth a try.

  • good job sir-i just bought one and tryed it stock, seems to pull to one side and nose dive,im going to try your mod--post more vids-thanks....................kp

  • The rolling fury is the best yet! I've done another mod that helps with stability and control. It's the other video searched using "rolling fury mod". Ndizzys mod. I haven't tried yours yet, but nice stuff.

  • Thanks Starbuck!

  • thanks

     starbuck

  • thats a great video Dave. but i still didn't get what happened if u added the slats... please help me out anyone

  • Hi Muis, The slats make it so the plane keeps flying with the wings at a higher angle of attack. (nose up) It also effectivly increases the wing area so it stays flying at slower speeds and can be flown in a smaller area. This along with the twist in the wings (wash-out) help prevent stalling or falling out of turns. If this is still unclear please come back. Regards, Dave

  • thank you for this video

  • Thanks for the video. I was thinking about buying one

  • nice thx good advice
