The whole cast was so amazing in this movie. I was actually looking for clips of Madeline Kahn and Austin Pendleton, and who's the actor who played the Swedish scientist? He is SO funny. Ryan and Barbra were incredible of course. Thanks for the great clips and Barbra's voice!

I agree. My two all time favorite movies were What's Up Doc? and Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. Wish they made movies like these today!

streisand was so sexy in this movie and kahn should have won best supporting actress. maybee funniest movie ever made from beginning to end. even including "it's a mad mad mad mad world". non stop laughs. a lot of them slap stick but also a lot of them more subtle. very well done and intelligently done. bogdanovich made a masterpiece.

If you like slapstick try watching "The Great Race" It is really funny!!

If Streisand had known she would be totally upstaged by Madeleine Kahn ("I am not a Eunice Burns, I am THEE Eunice Burns) making her film debut she would have opted out or demanded Khan's scenes cut. Streisand is good but Madeleine should be arrested for grand larceny - she steals every scene she is in.!

Ayn is right. Kahn is incredible. See the Special features on the DVD, Bogdonovich concurs.

And maybe this is why Babs denigrates this film. During production, she was upset that the script was not funny and that no one would ever see the film. On the contrary, it was a blockbuster.....

I'll take Judy Maxwell of Yentyl any day.

Atlas--How about the scene when they take Eunice in the taxi to see her fiance, only to take her to where the thugs are. Also- how about when they are all at the dinner party and everbody is under the table. I thought those two scenes were really great!!

I hadn't seen it on any Babs' albums either, I found it through iTunes.
