Great game, with a LOT of neat features, like smelting weapons and figuring out those damn golems. I used to play multiplayer a lot with a friend.

A typical Shimomura piece, you just know it's the same person who composed for games like SMRPG or Kingdom Hearts. This game is still very beautiful, I wish we'd see more games with amazing 2D art, especially now with the HD.

@SupraDarky Definitely. Have you seen the PSP Final Fantasy remakes? They have high-res art and some pretty detailed and awesome-looking spell effects. They look pretty incredible, and they're not even close to pushing the limits of what could be done with 2D graphics.

@SupraDarky Totally agree. Especially for RPG's. There is always a stiffness about 3d models that takes you out of the moment. Whne you look at recent 2d platformers like New Super Mario Bros, Kirby' epic yarn, and the new Shantae. They all look so dynamic.
