Dave is way too gifted and creative to worry about a pitch perfect preformance, if your looking for that listen to john mayer. Dave reminds me of jimmy page (even though they are completely different) they both can get a little chopey at times, they both created their own style of music and are very diverse, and neither seems to have focused much on technicality, they just get out there and do it, very soulful, and still are able to write better tunes then anyone else in their time.

its not his voice that cracks, he hits the note, he went into the chorus of the song and hit the wrong chord and so he got lost trying to find the right chord, which is what happens, because dave is not always sober for the shows.lol

Yeah he DEFINITELY played the wrong chords...no harm, no foul though. Tim started playing the part too tough. It was a collective error..whatever the case it certainly doesn't take anything away from this guy though. He could have literally fell off the stool and still be the Dave everyone loves.
