O SHIT I TAKE HALCION!!!!!!!! Ambien made me sleep walk and do stuff without remebering!!!!!! i wokeup and my ROOM WAS TRASHED! And everything was smashed and destroyed! And my mom said she had to babysit me for 5 hours on ambien! I WAS LIKE WTF! so i stopped taking it! And now my doc is giving me halcion cuz he said it wont make me sleepwalk like ambien!!!! Does halcion make u sleep walk????? im on .25 MG :S my doc said it wont cause sleep walking but idk. cuz ambien was a NIGHTMARE!

@Pent5HT wow! i take clonazepam(its a benzodiaxepine )and works great! I once was on Xanax and wow. i did some fucked up shit on that! Wrecked a car,filled the sink with oatmeal!. Take off in my truck until i run out of gas and left it in the streets and walked back to the apartment and passed out...yelling and screaming while i was sleeping...(scared the shit out of my roomate) I will never do xanax again!

i love how theres a picture of adderall xr next to the wine glass when she's talking about other sedatives. Adderall is a STIMULANT, not a depressant! and seriously peeps barbituates are NOT a healthy solution, those fuckers kill so many people accidentally. at least benzo's like temazepam have very little affect on one's CNS.

Placidyl (ethchlorvynol) was discontinued over a decade ago. Seconal is available but not prescribed as often as it was 40 years ago. It is irrlelevant to mention Placidyl at this point in time. Further, considering the decomposition of this medication due to time, light, heat, and air, I think that Placidyl has expired some time ago.

I took ambien and almost always sleep walked and sleep ate. Drove one time too and thank god I didn't kill myself or someone else. I'll never take it again!

@4chango yeah, ive pretty much tried them all. OTC Unisom seems to work the best for me though. Insomnia runs in my family big time. Im beginning to beat it tho just by meditating and thinking of care-free thoughts instead of what i need to work on in the morning!

@zestyguy87 Unisom is just another form of Benadryl / Doxylamine – it basically dehydrates the brain causing grogginess. The problem with this drug is that it hurts the liver, damages the prostate which can result in impotence, stimulates catarrh build up and many others.

Zolpidem..makes u sleep walk and u forgett u even take them..not to mention u forgett what ur doing or saying. SO dangerous. Not worth it! take a benadryl instead!

"Sleep-driving" or "sleep-eating" without the recollection of the events are most pronounced in the Z-type sedative hypnotics such as Zolpidem, Sonata, and Lunesta. These events are not as severe with Temazepam. Seconal has been around for a long time. It should be taken only as directed by a physician and for no more than one week. The margin between the therapeutic dose and the toxic dose for barbiturates is narrow. No more than 300mg must be taken within a 24 hour period.

@Nguli34689 Can you even get Seconal or Nembutal anymore? They were very popular when I was in high school in the 70's. I don't think that doctors even prescribe them anymore. I wil ask my dad, he's an M.D..

I must say though, they did work well if you used them as prescribed. Just don't abuse them. I saw many casualties with this drug way back when, at high school parties, etc...

@racer500gp Seconal was discontinued in year 2000 by Lilly Pharmaceuticals. It has since gone through a few patent ownerships and is now distributed by Marathon Pharmaceuticals along with Amytal. I was prescribed Seconal while in the hospital and it worked without getting me to sleep-walk, sleep-drive, or sleep-eat.

One of the main problems we had in the '60s is that people would not only abuse those but those who didn't woke up forgetting that they took any, took some more and OD'd anyway.

HALCION IS A MONSTER drug that will cause you to kill and it will remove as much as 20 years of memory and it will completely alter your charter. You will wake up not knowing your babies or wife and not careing. This is the samething that sometimes happens to people struck my lightning. I lost a wife and 6 children and a marriage to this drug. But because I wasnt aware of it happening time has passed and now I am refused damages as well as my family.

Good stuff? They gave it to me without warning me and the dosage was kioke 10 times it is today or more this was the very day it was released on the market to test people in salt lake city utah. It cause me to lose my family and 20 years of memories. It caused a grandmother to kill her daughter and granddaughter. Cheers

One prro grandmother woke up in 1985 to find her daughter and granddaughter murdered in the night. She found out she had killed these 2 and didnt remember it coz she was on this HALCION. This monster drug completely removes your knowledge of right and wrong and the ability to care with your full knowledge of what you are doing. When you wake up you dont remember doing anything wrong at all. The drug companies and our gov. know this but do not care.

@ApostleRon Hey man, sounds like halcion has some of the same affects as PCP. Which is a sedative-hypnotic. I know big lurch ate a womans lungs and got put to jail for it.

Read on the drug halcion in like 1985 in salt lake city utah. This drug was used on me and other unknowing people. I have not been able to bring lawsuit because I am told it is too long though because of massive memory loss you cant possibly relieze you have been harmed till you begain to regain a stable memory. By then it is too late to gain from losses. It is a terrible catch 22. It cost me 20 years of memery,my family etc. And it cost others even more.

oh right, im always interested to know the strongest sleeping tablets because i find it hard to sleep ~@ night, i start early in the moring @ work but i was given some drugs from doctors and it never worked!!

i tried getting drunk @ 5pm but it never really works!!
