  • just another silly twat on the road i would love to know what goes though the mind of one of these drivers probs not much pee brained cunts

  • Everyone knows unlawfully endangering the life of a complete stranger on a public roadway is a private matter...

  • Stupid woman! A most appropriate comment. An overtake into oncoming traffic is far too common. If she was in such a hurry as to require such a pass, why was she stopping? Calling her stupid is too kind.

  • How is she going to "report you to the police" when you have no registration with which to be identified? She is on camera, displaying a registration, and she's going up against a Mikey-powered chainsaw on wheels. Moron!

  • This woman is libel to take offense to the wrong person one day and find herself in a grave. You don't so this type of thing. She's living in the past obviously. If alone, she would not have had the so called 'courage' to do as she did. But she was acting all the shit because someone was with her. She must be a miserable person to live with and I can't even begin to imagine being friends with her.

  • Shocking and sadly happens far too often. Tailgating? Yeah. Straddling lanes? Yep. Incorrect use of the horn? Check. Putting a vulnerable road user in danger? Totally.

I've often thought about getting some cards printed, like 'droid on 'ere (or jerseys like iPadRoadTax). I can just card a driver with some creative retribution yet I find they rarely want to stop and chat.

  • What a dozy cow.

  • I can't help thinking this might be what I call the recumbent effect. I ride a recumbent as well. It draws a lot of comments, many positive but including some mind-numbingly stupid ones. It also attracts negative behaviour. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what happened here.

I find recumbents scare horses terribly too.

  • "Shit driving" - there can be little doubt that she is a 'shit' driver. If she's so embarrassed by this video, then perhaps she should take some driving lessons.

  • What a bitch. One day she will be vulnerable and I hope she feels fucking scared!

  • I sadly see this sort of behaviour everyday when teaching learner drivers. I always remind them Pedestrians, Cyclists & Horse riders are using the road as it is their RIGHT we, drivers have to be Licenced to use the roads & it is actually us that are in there way. I have a forward viewing camera in my car. Perhaps if the police acted on this sort of evidence more would happen. Where was it shot?

  • @horgi123 It was somewhere in London, the cyclist is CyclingMikey on here - the short story is it was reported to the police, the driver came on here making all sorts of death threats against him because she was so ashamed of her behaviour.

  • @rosickyize @lynnkx wow, really? Threats? If I were this woman, and I was making threats on YouTube, I'd go right ahead and turn myself in at the local police station. Message to the driver: when we already know your vehicle make and registration, it's best to keep it zipped.

  • @CyclistNH yeah, she tried to claim the police told Mikey off - some people just don't learn their lesson.

  • The bloke was like "Ohh God. Not again..." I have to feel sorry for him, how does he put up with her!

  • It's so annoying! I was on my bike maybe 3 weeks ago, and someone went past me and there was a car that left me no room at all

  • Women & Taxi drivers are the worst drivers & that's a FACT!! i just smash them off the road in my Range Rover if its clear that they are liable might help get a few of them off the roads.

  • Comical that the human race could have come so far with donkeys like that in the driving seat. I just feel so sorry for her cousin & husband in the passenger seat as it looked like he was used to her mental behaviour.

  • All too common I’m afraid – I drive, and whilst I’m not claiming to be an expert driver, your road positioning was spot on for the conditions. If you can’t cope with a bike in front of you, or lack the ability to overtake safely I think a bit more driver training might be in order. Did you “report” her in the end? – i must have missed this first time round

  • @TCTC68 ...contd further left. After some discussion, and my forwarding details from David Dansky, a full on report from John Franklin, the author of Cyclecraft, Roadsafe now accept that my positioning was spot on in this incident. They didn't have any cycle-specific training so didn't realise why taking the lane is correct here.

I ought to PM Lynn and let her know her publicity continues. If she tries to take this one down, I'll make efforts to put it up again elsewhere. :D

  • @CyclingMikey I didn't get the approval message for your first comment today so here it is: @TCTC68 Yeah, she got reported, and was outraged and incensed at her publicity, so made a privacy complaint. Not justified, but youtube take them down to avoid any legal issues. I'm entirely within my rights to publish this, though, and here rosickyize has my permission to post it up.

  • @CyclingMikey

Oh, Roadsafe said her driving fell far below that expected of a driver, but also said I should not have spoken to her so aggressively. Additionally they made a mistake in telling me I should have ridden...

  • @CyclingMikey You had every right to speak the way you did I feel, she clearly had/has no time for cyclists acting in a safe manner when required.

  • @lynnkx The user claiming to be the driver was /user/lynnkx - just add that to the normal youtube domain.

YouTube don't want to get into privacy battles so tend to pull videos even when, as in this case, there is no breach of privacy. The Streisand effect will keep her shame public, or at least her numberplate searchable and the video visible.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but did she baww about her privacy been breached and so the original video got pulled?

If so, that's pathetic. I remember seeing her (?) arguements on the original video's comments. She really can't get her head round her own failure, can she?

  • @WalkingDoodle No, not at all - i guess some people can't admit when they were wrong - all it would have taken was a simple sorry - Cyclingmikey is a very reasonable person.

  • No probs dude, i've edited the description - if you want me to edit anything, just say as it's your video : )

  • Thanks for that mate, it's clear to me this driver is very ashamed of her driving. Unsurprisingly.
