  • @Freewayjim. How long did you visit Cleveland and did you enjoy the visit? Im considering taking a 6 night trip to Ohio. 3 nights in Columbus and 3 nights in Cleveland. Thats going to be in late May early June. My goal is to leave out on Sunday. I may or may not stop in Pittsburgh in route. Check into the hotel Sunday night and have Sunday, Monday, Tuesday in Columbus. Wednesday. Head to Cleveland. And spend Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights in Cleveland and head home Saturday.

  • @MrWill1985 We checked in to a hotel shortly after the last night video, went to the R&R HOF the next morning and left for Pittsburgh about 1PM, in other words, not long, lol.

  • @Freewayjim I saw your Pittsburgh video and I am thinking I may make my trip 7 nights and do 1 night in Pittsburgh before the 6 nights in Ohio. And maybe make a day stop in Pittsburgh heading back from Cleveland. I did visit Pittsburgh one weekend and it seems many retailers downtown closed before Sunset the last weekend in April. But I still would like to make another trip to see how the Pittsburgh night life is. And I will see the Columbus and Cleveland Nightlife also.

  • i wish i could've went up to cleveland while i was in the area visiting family in akron over the summer :( great video though, i really love the song! keep it up!

  • @immasuperninja Thank you!

  • Nice video

  • I come from Orléans in France and I enjoyed discovering New Orleans. Have you ever filmed in this city? Do you plan to go to film the streets of N.O?

  • @Roro45ls I have a few New Orleans videos, check my collection (Last Summer) but I have not filmed the streets there.

  • This video brought a smile to my face. I immediately recognized the song, and of course I know the city. Makes me want to go out now and crank the Fahrenheit album.

  • @DrClaw77 Glad you enjoyed it and that is a good CD!

  • Beautiful...probably my favorite of your 3 Cleveland vids. The Key tower still brings back a lot of memories when they were building it 89-91. It just dwarfed the Terminal Tower and BP building...and that lit up pyramid top at night...ahhh. Cleveland just 'felt' bigger when Key Tower went up. √

  • @pk33617 Thanks, whoops, i thought I was commenting on a different video...glad you liked it just the same.

  • Great video! I don't think I would've made it through there without making a wrong turn. Looks like an awesome city to get lost in.

  • @eluko79 Thanks! You know it probably is, I find it very interesting, the next video will show a lot of that (and then some) in the daylight.

  • Great stuff, and nice soundtrack!

Based on my visit to Cleveland, I really found it hard to understand why everyone considers the city to be an urban wasteland. I found its numerous districts and neighborhoods to be anything but a "wasteland"; quite a number of cafe, restaurant, shopping and nightlife districts, each with their own character. And the downtown area itself is pretty cool, too. Some nice architecture, for sure.

  • @USHighway101 Thanks, and I agree, I don't see Cleveland as a bad or ugly city at all. The next video will showcase more of it in the daylight.

  • @USHighway101 I was just there two weeks ago... it has some bad areas like any other major city, but there's nothing wrong with Cleveland... good folks, good food, good town.

  • @USHighway101 Based on what I saw of the city a few years back(though I think I unfortunately underexplored the city on that trip), I'd agree it's definitely not a wasteland. I did like the area near Jacobs Field, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is very fun to visit, and the lakefront area on Erie is surprisingly nice. There was a community west of Cleveland(I can't remember the name of it, is it Lakewood?) that had some really nice older homes, residences, and buildings, as well.

  • @USHighway101 @freewayjim Cleveland gets an unfair reputation it is a wonderful place. super super smooth ride and audio delight.....

  • @0marigolds Thanks! agreed on Cleveland.

  • @USHighway101 The only Crappy thing in cleveland is the suburban morons who only travel down their for an indians game and mostly hang out in the rural suburbs of willoughby and chardon which have nothing. The negativity here is appalling. I love cleveland bc i know what to do up here. Tons of places and things to do here. Still alot of improvement needed but people think itts so bad here. Ive seen Flint, Michigan and now THAT is an urban wastleand

  • Love the nightime videos. Thumbs up!!!!!

  • @expresswayjess Thank you!

  • nice, thanks

  • @bsdpowa Thank you!

  • Nice music, recognized it from the first note :)

There are some whack merging situations here and there.

  • @aswchris Thanks Chris, are you a Toto fan?

  • @Freewayjim Yep, and I appreciate the non-hits like these more than their standard radio hits :)

  • @aswchris I'm with you on that!

  • @Freewayjim I am, too. This song has a nice, jazzy blues feel to it. I like how Toto is able to diversify their musicianship. Great choice for this video (I might add). You know how to pick them.

  • @lakebay972 Thanks, much appreciated!

  • Great, love it. I was in Cleveland back in 96 on a trip back to Jackson Mich. where my cousin lived.

  • Absolutely amazing, astonishing, wonderful !!!! Thanx for this and for you work!

Cleveland is so nice, dream of visiting it one time =)

As for me too short but still very picturesque!!!! Appreciate so much!

  • @Trionixxx Thank you! The next one will be more to your liking with regards to the length of the video.

  • I loved the song that went with the video. The city looks fabulous at night!

  • @Reiser86 Thanks, glad you liked the tune.

  • Good stuff! Visited in 2003!

  • @dave11686 Thanks!

  • And people say Cleveland is depressing. You make any city awesome.

Jim, I know you filmed this back in July, but do you think in the future you could hit the Twin Cities or Canada (like Toronto/Ottawa) since you came so close this time around? And is the camera mount in your car fixed? Because what I think would be REALLY cool is if you (or your friend Brent) used rental cars to tour freeways outlying areas like Puerto Rico, Hawaii or Alaska.

  • @RianAlive Thanks, I appreciate that! Maybe some day with regards to Minny and Canada. Our setups are not fixed and can be done in a rental but to be honest I have no desire at all to visit PR, Hawaii or Alaska so hopefully Brent can get those.

  • @RianAlive: I honestly can't see myself getting out to Alaska for at least another 10 years. Hawaii is MUCH more likely, as one of my friends owns a condo on Waikiki Beach on Oahu; free place to stay, and even a free car to use (since she trusts my driving a lot). Puerto Rico will eventually be a place I visit, but probably not for at least a few more years.

  • ZZZZZZzzzzzzzz hu what

  • Lived there for 33 years, move to Atlanta 22 years ago. It was nice to visit it, via your videos. Thanks.

  • @NeuvoDare Thanks for watching!

  • Was there a few years ago...nice city

  • Man!!! That bridge in Cleveland is the only bridge I even seen that has color lights!!!!

    Great job on the video!

  • @YoshiLuigi45 Thank you!

  • cool vid!

  • @InterstateKyle Thank you!

  • Love it.....born and raised and still here!!!

  • @gdwillow Thank you!
