I thought silencers weren't that quiet in reality? Or is that just how the camera picks up the sound?

@NickStedmon a lot goes into the effectiveness of a suppressor like whether it's a dry or wet fired design, caliber, ambient temperatures, and the use of commercial or sub-sonic ammo loads. Sub-sonic ammo can produce that movie type suppressed sound with almost any caliber, but runs a higher risk of baffle strikes within the suppressor rendering a $600-$700 can useless.

@NickStedmon It aint that quiet afterall, its part cuz of the camera..and i wasnt shooting sub-sonic ammo.

the movie are unrealistic, the only way to obtain a movie-like suppressed gun shot is shooting a silenced .22
