@rog5272 A rookie did win on a Yamaha and it wasnt just the bike. Yea, that motor is crazy fast and definitely left everyone scratch thier heads but he had a lot to do with it!! Hes no joke for sure and I even thought that the field would show that he wasnt as good as AMA made him look but 11 poles and 14 wins later I had my foot in my mouth!! If you want to give all the credit to the bike, where was his teammate that I dont think even got a top 5 finish??? Your talking way outta line buddy!!!

@craigg1981 Absolutely right.. Tom Sykes was his teammate, really good British rider, he was mostly around 8-10th place while Spies was at the front every race! All credit and hard luck to Haga but the only reason it came down to the last race was of all the bad luck Spies had with breakdowns etc.

Cannot wait to see how he does this year. I'm going to say he'll get on the podium a couple of times and get 5th in the championship behind the big 4 but depending on injuries may place higher
