  • Reminds me of the first Medal of Honor game back in the late 90's!! haha

  • tracer!!!!!!!!!!

  • I was hoping he was gonna dump a entire bloc of ammo.

  • @GMdrivingMOPARguy yeah, they pit up the barrel, and they corrode pretty bad to, not to mention if you use them in a closed bolt action, it's makes a mess :P

  • you missed. A little to the right :D

  • Don't tracers wear out the barrel really fast?

  • @GMdrivingMOPARguy No......they have nothing to do with the barrel. The bullet just has a coating over it that shines when fired.

  • @morganfinley3 But they still burn inside the barrel. I have a Mauser in my gun cabnet right now that the barrel is worn out really bad because of tracers ive been told.

  • @GMdrivingMOPARguy its not the tracers, tracers use air friction to ignite the phosphorus on the tip.

  • @GMdrivingMOPARguy older rifles have worn out barrels because of corrosive ammo that was not cleaned properly.

  • Hahaha I was wondering when he was going to run out of ammo, and when he unloaded like a hundred I was like WTF, but then I read the description.

  • Deer hunting in the dark?

  • @MOJONIXION I could'nt even hit the target much less a deer :-)

  • @pu33yassassin You do, don't you?

  • for anyone who still doesn't know what a tracer is, it's basically a bullet on fire...

  • how expensive are 30-06 tracers and where do you get them

  • @hummerskickass Its been a few years but I THINK I got them thru Cabelas. You only got 6 rounds for like $25.00 approx.

  • It looks like a blaster shot from Star Wars. Fantastic!

  • @glok6

Yeah. They're regular bullets, the rear of it is just painted with phosphate, so they are exactly the same as they would be otherwise, just glowing.

  • They look badass

  • these things are great when you see them bounce off the ground and hit off of all sorts of things

  • @franklin9500 They are, see my other video with the M-15 with the tracers bouncing off cinder blocks.

  • whats a tracer rounds??

  • Tracer is a bullet that has the back of it painted with a special phosphate coating that makes it glow when it leaves the barrel of the gun. This makes it viable to the naked eye and easier to see were your rounds are going down range, especially at long distances. The only downside is that anyone can see it, including enemies and can give your position away. but pretty freaken cool to watch with your own two eyes to see how fast a bullet travels.

  • @SKSMADMAN i thought that a tracer round flamed in the back not paint

  • @americanpaintball It's a chem mixture that's been painted onto the rear of the round that ignites upon firing. Not necessarily paint in the color sense, but a phosphorus mixture or other chemical coat.

  • one hell of a muzzle flash!

  • best gun ever, next to Thompson though

  • Did you hit the deer

  • Aye Rolin'!

  • arnt tracers illegal in the US?

  • No they are 100% legal except in the Communist states like California.

  • @nikel3161 nope they are perfectly legal to own and shoot in the USA.

  • @SKSMADMAN he must be thinking of insindiary round which are illegal in most states

  • @SKSMADMAN i think they are illegal to hunt with. im not sure though

  • @SKSMADMAN god bless america and right to keep guns =) the last land of freedom

  • @SKSMADMAN Except California

  • @nikel3161 you must be thinking of insindiary rounds which are illegal in most states

  • Nice! I just bought a box of surplus M2 tracers for my Garand and can't wait to try them out!

  • omg i love the m1 i wanna try:(

  • no they work both ways you idiot not fly

  • Narly

  • i was only joking lol dont get rude

  • WORK both ways

gawd get your cod4 quotes correct

  • wot exactly is tracer fire? my bad dont know much on the subject but nice vid.

  • tracer rounds are modiffied and diferent ftrom standard bullets so that when theyre fired , there hapens a chemical reacion in them and they light up, and youre able to see them with bare eyes. Something that you cant with normal bullets.

  • Well. I assume you have the internet as your on youtube.. what does it say??

  • its burning magnesium on the tip of the bullet so if your firing from the hip, in a plane or AA gun you can ajust your fire.

  • The magnesium is on the back, not in front.

  • @bigbattles I thaught it was on the front?

  • If you look it up, you can find a cross section drowing of the bullet. Also it needs to be in the back so that hot gases from the explosion can ignite the mixtue.

  • Oh true.

  • excellent sound quality on this video

  • The tracer is actually moving 3x faster, it's just your eyes can't follow it that fast so your brain reveives the message later.

  • lol go on full screen and try and follow em wiv ur eyes :p

  • amzingggg

  • sweettttt...

  • awesome

  • badass

  • GNARLY.
