I use to love these commercials from the late 70's early 80's. Does anyone recall the robot? The nutrition robot or something like that? He interview school kids who spoke about the importance of eating healthy.

I remember watching a psa with farmer brown telling us to eat healthy, balanced meals. It was shown on local tv in NY in the 70's. Does anyone remember? I would love to see that commercial.

i remember another from this series where Abominable Snowman keeps ruining his kite...it's about taking good care of one's things. I remember the AS saying "it got stuck in a tree and I yanked it down and then a truck ran over it," and the goose saying "if you've got something nice you've got to take care of it!"

I have about 1 second of that one (where they leave to go somewhere and leave on radio & other stuff).  It was cut from a tape someone made for me, and all that remains is one second of tease

Channel 56 was the best station we ever had as kids. Also known as the 5th channel, when all you had was an antenna to connect.
