@tkrocks94, Thanks for the video. I downloaded the first free version and swapped around some files to get my iPod Touch 64GB to be used as a disk storage. Uhhh, now what? How do I sync the iPod with DiskAid?  The iPod is connected to my PC (running WinXP), but is there a sync procedure, or is it supposed to happen on the fly? TIA!

alright dude what ur doin is fine..but specify what you are doing...and NOOOO you did not show how to enable disk use. YOu just took stuff off of the ipod. I need to know HOW to enable this feature. Please change the title..its a bit confusing..and you even admitted it "This isnt the same thing and is not enabling disk use."

Using this program is the exact same as enabling Disk Use.....enabling Disk Use just gives you access to the disk.....that is exactly what this program does.

It is impossible to enable disk use through iTunes because Apple has decided to get rid of this feature to help stop the sharing of music.....using this program or other programs that do the same this are as close to (and the same thing as) enabling disk use.

If you have a wall charger plug your Nano into that, if not just plug it into the computer, but make sure that anything that might want to connect to your nano is open (iTunes, DiskAid, ect...)

I hope this helps, if not, bring your Nano to the Apple Store, you might need a new battery

I believe you are asking if you can do this without any other programs, and my answer to that, is no.

Apple got rid of the Enable Disk Use function as a way to keep people from sharing music, so you need 3rd party software to achieve this

I believe if you have manually Manage music and videos checked, you will not be able to check Enable Disk Use

Try unchecking Manually mange...and then you should be able to check the disk use
