  • Damn I wish I could have been there with my 12 guage.

  • i heard that komodo can run really fast to attack human,is it toooo close ?

  • wtf is a stick gonna do?

  • I saw one in a pet shop. It wasn't for sale XD

  • thats a savahna moniter

  • If you are out there where the Dragons live then always stay on a safe distance so you dont start a conflict with the animal so they need to shoot it to save your life. If you do that you are to blame for a meaningsless accident you easily could avoid. It wont take long to kill around 4000 Dragons because of stupidity from tourists also because their environments could be too disturbed. Besides i dont think a bite from this animal is easy to deal with, even in a hospital.

  • It Walks Funny

  • the big lizard awwwwwww soo cute

  • One bite and you're dead

  • thought they only lived on three islands around japan?

  • @theSicilianToe indonesia, and i thought the same

  • @MyJustified indonesia thats right. not japan. but yeah I thought they only inhabited "three small islands" i could have sworn it was like the first thing I learned about them. but i dont know much about them so I could be wrong. its not a real practical use of information in any event i live in new york so i dont think ill have to run for my life from one of them in the near future :P

  • white people stupid..!!!

  • That's a beautiful dragon! I've only seen photos. Personally, I think the camera man is a fool. I'd be running like my ass was on fire, lmao!!!

  • wow it looks like world of warcraft

  • I would get the shit out of there...

  • Lol. The way they walk is so sexy and pimp. Such swagger.

  • That thing is HUGE! Scary.......thanks for sharing the video.

  • Can you hunt them

  • @MrJake6 No, it's illegal to hunt them. They're endangered, it's illegal to even own one.

  • it just thought the humans had some meat for it to eat, like any meat eating animal or dog would

  • 1:35 - 1:48 translation "Oh, hey man, I'm just with some stupid Western tourists again. These might be the ones to actually get eaten up, they look that dumb."

  • Those things can run fast...and you will get fined if you kill one.. Why would you go near one??

  • Can we throw that bitch in there? just curious what they do...

  • hes probably wondering why the fuck he cant go for a strole anymore with out someone stalking him .

  • I know they are dangerous, but I simply cannot imagine it winning the fight versus a grown man. It's a freaking lizard. Just pick a rock and smash its head.

  • @NikolaYjm their heads are harder than football helmets, in truth, you would barely stand a chance

  • @NikolaYjm its bite presure is said to be close to the american aligator , i dont think a human would stand much chance if it grabs a hold of you.

  • @mattgotsskill Actually, testing has shown that Komodo dragons have surprisingly weak bites. Their head is shaped so that it's very good at holding on to struggling prey but does not have a great deal of jaw power. It doesn't need to, though, since every second it's maintaining the bite it's injecting venom that's more toxic than that of many snakes into the wound.

  • @Macrochenia They dont have venom. Their saliva is toxic.

  • @rjh1300 The toxin is delivered directly into the wound, rather than being absorbed through he skin like a poison arrow frog or being ingested like a poisonous mushroom. That makes it a venom. And technically it's not their saliva that's venomous, either- they've got venom glands in their lower jaws that release the toxins when they bite something, which then mixes with their saliva and enters the wound.

  • 3:19 komodo was planin a move

  • Unless those sticks are secretly light sabers, those dudes wouldn't stand a chance.

  • Cryptozoology novel see video book trailer

  • Our mosa'f acoustic, invites us all vote KOMODO, is The New 7 Wonders of the World ...

please click on the song "KOMODO KEBANGGAAN" ((DRAGON PRIDE)

    THANK YOU

  • wow finally no one mentioned getting Justin Bieber ass there cuz i get sick of those typical comments and yes i don't like bieber.

send beieber there next to the dragon

  • @storm61 I hope a Komodo rips you to pieces and sees you as a disgusting creature

  • @rblomarda bobo iba ang bayawak

  • i think its kinda cute how it kicks its feet out while trotting along

  • This komodo dragons here are running like free and without fear. In the Philippines it would have been impossible for it to get to that size. In the Philippines we call these amphibians as Bayawak. It would have been put on a platter cooked in adobo style with lots of bottles of Ginebra San Miguel gin or ice cold San Miguel beer to gulp it down. Ask anybody from the Philippines who has seen a komodo dragon that size and they would say its very rare.

  • Scary!

  • that was ridiculous!!! a stick?! what are they doing

  • I was really hoping that it would attack those dipshits. They deserve it.

  • Looks so cute when it walks xD

  • @ROBLOXobama1337 i know! but it would scare the mess outta me if it was walking towards me. O.O

  • lmao its not gunna listen..

  • Fucking hell... Where's my shotgun?

  • i need a fucking gun to stand next to this mothafucka

  • wow thats soooo amazing. wish i was there

  • This is in indonesia. The guide is clearly indonesian and speaks the language.

  • Fuuuuuuckkk that! I wouldn't stick around to be even 50 feet near it....

  • how the heck did it get there? I though they only existed in Indonesia?

  • i hope it eats you.

  • shes a dick

  • At 1:43 "Okay who are these assholes?"

  • The way it walks is so fucking creepy

  • this creature are very fast dude you will never make it even if you run away just one bite then you will die efter 15 min

  • @bodylove33 why do fucking people thing that when you see the poor animal you say that dude people do rear them to become freindly i tell you if a guy came up to me witn a stick i would bite him because hes a fret to him did he attack him no he dident they dont really toch humans ownly other aimals gosh it people who hurt them more poch them its fucking crule and im on the dragons side i wanna help them because theres not many left

  • unless this animal was facing animals with numbers it can take on any animal because of its bacteria bite. well except sharks b/c they are immune to all disease lol.

  • hahahah buddy turns his back and the dragon starts stairing him down

  • 01:42 - it's like "Yo, what up?"

  • That would be fucking scary to encounter a komodo dragon with no weapon lol....i want a pet dragon now lol jk.

  • ''HAHAHAHA lets throw someone in there and see wat happens'' would have loved to see her get mawled!!!

  • I'm sorry, but I've also seen Komodo dragons i n, what looks like, the exact same spot. on Komodo. I don't think it's rare to see them out there, the guide just says it's rare so the guest feels special. Great video nontheless.

  • Beautiful, I saw one only a foot away through some glass at a zoo and it was awesome.

  • Lets Throw Something And Get Fucked Up!Good Idea!

  • she said if they can throw someone over there to see what it'd do? the video would have been a million times better if they would have thrown her over there, you know, to see what it would do. ppl sometimes can be very ignorant. a komodo D has a striking speed and sharp razor claws. they are territorial and can be lethal if ticked off. i doubt two scrawny men with toothpick sticks could have stopped it. if it had chosen to attack that lady would be on discovery blaming the komodo D.

  • @bettyboop17d If had had chosen to attack she'd be dead not on discovery, and secondly "I doubt two scrawny men with toothpick sticks could have stopped it". Those two men aren't tourists, more like tourguides and they probably know the country and the animals very well. Maybe you shouldn't be so ignorant because I'd love to see your fat ass standing in front of a komodo telling people to be calm.

  • @exow2 i was being sarcastic about her getting attack, stupid.i know the 2 men are not tourist, i never said they were!!! and even if they know the animals you think that would have stopped the dragon from attacking or with those sticks you think they could have done something? no. the fact is that the dragon is a wild and territorial animal. i've seen videos where they attack ppl that are supposed to be trained. never said i could stop it or even try to, you DUMB BITCH!

  • @exow2 You probably are a fat ass that can't remain calm to a comment on youtube.

  • Why are they so close to it?!?

those things can kill anything they want

easily, in like five different ways.

  • old ppls, they need to know that they can eat you!=)

  • there retarded, that creature is to be respected.

  • Ohlala!

  • OMG, you got balls man.

  • *sings to jerassic park theme song*

oh my fucking gosh, fucking dinosuar holy shit what the fuck!! it's a dinos.....

  • what a majestic creature i want to have a pet like that and it would only be friendly to me maybe when girls rape me for fun that would happen = to never lol

  • Five stars to the enginers at the camera development still havent realize that wind sounds horrible at an unprotected mic.....

  • Holly crap. Its a dinosaur!!!

  • That's weird...it didn't even attack. 0_o

At first, when it was really close to them I thought it was going to strike and eat them. That is one strange komodo dragon. LOL.

  • @Icedolly777 it prolly got scared of so many ppl, r u retarded or what ? try to attack 5 ppl and see what happens...

  • @snoopdodoublegeezy 1) I'm not retarded. 2) Just bcuz I don't know almost anything about Komodo Dragons doesn't make me retarded. 3) Are you retarded yourself, asshole?

And 4) I pity you for your stupidity. :)

  • @Icedolly777 Komodo's arent fucking monsters they don't just strike everything they see....

  • @iFeedMyDingoBiscuts I don't need to hear that twice thank you very much. ~Smirks~ In case you haven't noticed, someone already answered my comment in a rather rude manner. Hmph.

  • how come crocidiles r considered a reptile and they get bigger than a komodo dragon but people say that the komodo is the biggest lizard?

  • @ZSHREDPJ Komodo Dragons belong to the Order of Squamata, which includes lizards. Komodo Dragons are the biggest species in this order. Crocodiles belong to the order Crocodilia. Thus, crocodiles, specifically the Saltwater Crocodile, are the biggest species of Reptiles, but Komodo Dragons are the biggest species of lizard

  • have u ever seen a big komodo ? look it up and delete ur stupid post

  • @ZSHREDPJ Because a Crocodile is in a different phylum then lizards. Sort of like monkey's lemurs and humans are all primates, but we are not in the same phylum.... get it?

  • The dragon could attepmpt to bite them ... it'd be cool and some emotion to the video too

  • shit dude

  • i think i saw one of those in minnessota, a really small one, but idk, i dont think it was

  • @fedx135 LMAO

minnesota would be in huge trouble if it had komodo dragons . But i think what you saw was a monitor lizerd kinda similar but much smaller

  • @fedx135 There are many types of Monitors that look alot like Komodo dragons, and get nearly as big... I own a 6ft long Asian Water monitor... people always ask me if its a komodo... they are actually commonly kept as pets and are very tame if kept well.... youtube search it

  • They just have sticks as defense? Shit. If that thing attacked you'd be dead

  • What would be extremely funny is a huge clutch of dragons would be born. And nobody knew. The guide takes a large group of tourists on a walk and the group never comes back. And the brood gets bigger and more tourist vanish and more dragons are born and the whole idiot human race vanishes on dragon island. I laugh just thinking how stupid and inane the human race is. Every time I see one.

  • Those sticks wouldnt do shit to that thing. They can weigh upto 200lbs and run upto 30mph.

  • The animal is obviously used to having humans around

  • and what would PETA say KILL IT!!!

  • i woulda gotten the fuck outa there rofl

  • Thats some nasty fuckin animal.

  • Make a nice belt or shoes for the misses

  • yea yea pussies are always run and cry

  • " RUUUUUUNN, ITS GODZILLLAAAAAAA!!!!!!" lol

  • y kill em these are rare creatures only like 5,000 left in the world and this 1 wasnt even treatning all animals see the god in humans we rule thats y they bow down they only attack if they fear for thier lives but personally for ur comment i would kill u b4 that dragon asshole..

  • watch out dragon might eat your dick

but when think further I wonder you got a dick to eat.might be pussy

  • fuck uuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • kill yo fuckin mom ass hole

  • im sure thats what the doctors said when you were born.

  • Did they even do anything?

  • those guys have serious issues.

  • i loved the kimodo dragon feature on

bbc 1s life last night. so fascinating

  • Amazing. I would have been shitting my pants, I hate small lizards as it is.

  • throw your self!

  • it looks like its crawling like JU-ON THE GRUDGE,hahhhaLOL

  • it's Rinca Island which's the most of the land is savanah, Ind have many savanah on east .. it's true in Indonesia, i agree..! u can try to visit, u will see it,,, but however dragon is unpredictable creature in habitat sometimes if u're lucky they can be look so nice, or cruel,.. but ladie on the video looks want to change her luckiness by asking that question... however that ranger guide still common people, so please be more humanis....due to u'r satisfaction ladie..?!

  • No wonder why people get killed by the komodo dragons they think its a joke that guy had its back turned to it like it was a dog was walking past are you crazy and one dumb bitch said lets throw someone in there to see whats happens I would throw her ass in there dumb bitch its not aboutt being brave the only way I would stand near one is if I was packing an AK47.

  • ARE YOU A RETARD, OR JUST AMERICAN ???

  • @TheHollowboy yeah supposedly they poison and kill in one bite, if they choose to. I dont know why people fuck with these creatures. then act surprised when thhey get hurt by the animal

  • @TheHollowboy I don't think people get killed by Komodos to often... you know i don't know what the big deal is with ppl and komodo's I own a Asian water monitor that is 6 ft long... only a few short of the Komodo and he is tame as a puppy... Really People make them out to be monsters and they aren't

  • @TheHollowboy dude there dont be horrible look they attack proble because people hurt them hey you pack a gun and ill come shoot you down with a rpg for hurting the poor animal the attck because people get to close and the animal gets scared people do tame them you no so there not all horrible its people who poke them with sticks who should be eaten because you wouldent like it would you

  • @TheHollowboy wow no kidding they are stupid guide said it looks aggresive and can run up 20 mph.. hmmm lets just stay 5 feet away and make noise if tht thing was pissed it could hav killed all 4 or 5 of them.

  • @TheHollowboy I understand your sentiment, but in the future, for readability, please consider using punctuation more liberally. You wrote that entire comment as one really really long run on sentence, when it should have been anywhere from 6 to 8 sentences.

On a different note, does "TheHollowboy" have any reference to the anime Bleach?

  • hahah stooopid dis is not da savannah...its either da komodo island or flores...coz da guide speak indonesian n i can understand him...totally false info on da habitat...

  • I think a savannah is any tropical grassland.

  • That dumbass "can we throw somebody in there to see what happens" shit, I'll throw your ass in there, you old bat! Those people are stupid!

  • wait a sec .... Komodo Dragons are from south-east asia/Indonesia ...what are they doing in the Savannah ??? and they cant probably find enough cover in these grasses they are used to live in jungles ..best they could do was end up in Australia, but Africa is too far ...can anyone tell me whats going on ?????

  • the island of komodo is like that, its desert like with plains

  • LOOSER

  • cool

  • the only way i would get near one of those in the wild, is if i had a automatic rifle

  • 20 km an hour !!

  • Oh my gosh...I'm so glad we don't have nothing like that in this part of the USA!!

  • Wow...they are arrogant and ignorant! Did you hear the woman say, Can we throw someone in there to see what happens? I agree, throw yourself in you hag!

  • loving the use of the word 'hag' there

    good work

  • @bangles21 She is joking dude, realax!

  • does this guy not know that those lizards can run up to 18 miles an hour!!???!!

Humans can be soooo arrogant at times.. it's ridicoulous.

I wouldnt put one foot on earth, stay in ur safari jeep, take some pics and call it a day.

  • i hope that bitch get eatin

  • u stupid ass chick...throw yourself out there

  • That's a monitor lizard.

  • ide be so scared!

  • Is this a komodo or a large monitor lizard? Monitors do get that big and this doesn't look like komodo habitat. I wish the poster would give more information.

  • "Is this a komodo or a large monitor lizard?"

Same thing but I guess you knew that

  • No, they're not the same thing. They're of the same family but are not the same lizard.

  • well looking at the body structure, yah it's a komodo..

  • Comment removed

  • where is the savanaah?

  • "can we throw somebody there.."

    Throw yourself there!!!!

  • the dragon's behavior seems to suggest a more involved relationship with the guides. I would wager that they had fed and cultivated this male, for a long time. Also of note, is the markedly compact nature of the genitalia. Clearly, this must be a British Dragon.

  • is that just a clever way to say limeys have tiny dicks or what

  • HAHAHAHAHA

  • It has been observed in captive dragons that many komodos display relatively tame behavior within a short period of time in captivity. Many occurrences are reported where keepers have brought the animals out of their enclosures to interact with zoo visitors, including young children, to no harmful effect. Dragons are also capable of recognizing individual humans. Komodo dragons react differently when presented with their regular keeper, a less familiar keeper, or a completely unfamiliar keeper.

  • those ppl with sticks r brave knowing those sticks wont do much it did attack

  • cant fucking see shyt

  • WOW!
