Their head is shaped so that it's very good at holding on to struggling prey but does not have a great deal of jaw power. Ask anybody from the Philippines who has seen a komodo dragon that size and they would say its very rare.

@TheHollowboy I don't think people get killed by Komodos to often... you know i don't know what the big deal is with ppl and komodo's I own a Asian water monitor that is 6 ft long... only a few short of the Komodo and he is tame as a puppy... Really People make them out to be monsters and they aren't

the dragon's behavior seems to suggest a more involved relationship with the guides. I would wager that they had fed and cultivated this male, for a long time. Also of note, is the markedly compact nature of the genitalia. Clearly, this must be a British Dragon.
