Thanks for sharing your journey with us. I love your channel. For me the worst part of being natural is the protective styling especially at a shorter length. I'm single and I feel like men are less attracted to the conservative look. My hair looks amazing in a fro but I obviously can't wear a fro all the time. So like you I twist my hair but my male friends always tell me that its not as attractive. For the next FAQ Friday can you discuss how you feel about wearing wigs as a protective style?

Thanks for your honesty as a lot of us can relate! However, I was so lost when I BC almost 4 months ago. I had no idea what to do. Someone referred me to YouTube and I was so grateful for the wealth of information here (your videos too). You guys unlocked the hidden treasures of natural hair; it's versatility, health, thickness etc. It's not limited to just a DRY AFRO. There are so many styles and amazing products to choose from to make this journey a fun, beautiful, creative and healthy one!!

Love this vid! Thanks for posting it! Nearing 2 years of being natural I sometimes get frustrated! But I keep going! If it wasn't for youtubers like you who helped me along my journey with all these great vids! I'd be doing bc #3 likely by now! I have learned to just be creative and inventive with styles! @ALICIAJAMESMUSIC I AM SO THANKFUL FOR YOU AND OTHER HERE ON YOUTUBE I went natural 5yrs ago but I've been natural like wearing my curls out for like the past year at first ppl including family were like why are you doing this is a statement, saying things like it makes your hair look short when its so long, but now they all love it and I have even convinced I few of my good friends to go natural and they love it! I love my hair and I love learning things about how to better it on youtube!
