Smooth song! Written, by the way, by Gene Pitney. Did you know that?
Poor Tommy Edwards -- died at only 47 years old. Most of his hits were in his early 30's.
"Its all In The Game" was a big hit for him.. writen by the Vice President of the United States! Betcha few people knew that! (OK, so the VP was back in the 1920's.)
I have always loved "It's all in the game" but never gave it a second thought, I just discovered TE at this late date. What a wonderful talent this man was! I think he was just born at the wrong time. His song "Before You" is also on youtube Great!
After seeing this video I bought the CD off the internet. His greatest hits album is really great. I never heard this song before and it seems to have caught my interest. I just wish I could get the Karaoke version of it. Tommy Edwards music from the 50's is wonderful. I think he was one of the under-rated singers of that era. Thanks for posting this song.
I've always been a big fan of Mr. Edwards, but something about this song brings something alive in me. Unexplainable! Thank you for posting it....Jude

Tommy also had my favorite version of "Blue Velvet," but I don't think it's on youtube.

This song was released as the b side to Tommy's last top 100 Billboard hit "It's Not The End of Everything". What a great voice this guy had.
Love to hear his early original versions of The Morning Side of the Mountain and It's All in the Game!
