Its neither copied, nor one-sided...

Yes, the plot of Razia Butt's novel resembles Amrita Pritam's "PINJAR" & Qudrat Ullah Shahab's "YA KHUDA"

but that only proves that the bitter realities of that time were somewhat similar. There are so many people still alive to prove the truth of that hijrat.

& about being one-sided...

Its not true, as in coming episodes you'll come across Hindu & Sikh characters who even killed their own tribesmen to save BANO. They represent people who helped Muslims.
