  • What the heck is the person under me talking about...and isn't Russia partly Asian..and why is all that music only for white people haha so many questions. When I got into korean music I found K-pop The only one I've really liked so far is SS501. I agree, you shouldn't like music because their korean or anything else, like bands because they're awesome. But you don't have to like Lady Gaga to like kpop. I'm so happy I found this channel. It's more my style. I say like music by the band not genre

  • @MrConsumerWhore1 Dear Asians listening to Western Music,

PLEASE STOP IT!!! English, Spanish, French and Russian music is for

white people ONLY, so stop listening to it, you're offending our culture.

  • Why should we be fighting about music genres? If some one likes pop and indie it should be all good; Just STFU and enjoy the awesome music~

  • acabo de descubrir q en korea tambien ay musik indie orale..bien por ellos

  • When I started getting into Korean music, I first looked for indie groups because that's what i'm really used to listening to. I started liking korean pop too though. I don't think it's that big of a deal...

  • 날 좋아해줘

    아무런 조건 없이

    니 엄마 아니 아빠보다 더

    어제 막 찾아온 사춘기처럼

  • 좋아해줄께요...<3

  • Dear westerners who listen to Kpop. From a Korean:

    PLEASE FUCK OFF

No one thinks you're special because you listen to stupid idol groups like snsd. Just fuck off or listen to music because it's actually good not because it's Korean.

  • @MrConsumerWhore1 But I really like SNSD

I love all their title tracks and Shinee too

and I don't listen to it cuz it's Korean lol

  • SNSD is shit... Don't even kid yourself. The only way you could like SNSD is if you like western pop groups too. If that is the case it's fine. But if you don't also like the western pop groups and like Korean pop groups it's obvious you're some attention whore who wants to feel special. Seriously I am not saying you do but it just pisses me off when white people come here and expect a big hug because they listen to Korean music just because it's Korean. How can you like bs if it's about lyrics?

  • @MrConsumerWhore1 What's wrong with SNSD? I really love them. Along with T-ara, After School, BoA, 2AM, IU, Wonder Girls... But I also love listening to Taru, Yozoh, Casker, Peppertones, Clazziquai Project, Misty Blue, Donawhale, Monni, No Reply... I'm Asian, but not Korean. But I still enjoy Korean music.

  • @alterna

Let me guess you think western pop sucks right? I don't have a problem with westerners liking and listening to our music I just hate it when 12 year old white girls only like our music because it's Korean. SNSD is probably the most horrible group to ever exist... It's completely manufactured and was made by the Korean pop industry. I hate that attitude westerners get when they think everything is better in Korea... That is really not the case. Coming from a Korean K-pop is shit.

  • @MrConsumerWhore1 I personally don't know any white teen listening to Korean music. I only know a few Asians (but not Koreans) that listen to Korean music. I didn't even know that it was considered "cool" for white people to enjoy Korean music. Anyway. I love indie music, but I still like a few idols. I know that all the idols are completely manufactured with their images and their "concepts". But I still like their music. The music is all that matters to me.

  • @alterna

I guess we all have our opinions. Like I said if you enjoy pop where you are from then it's fine and great if you enjoy k-pop. I just don't like it when dumb 12 year old white girls hate western pop and love korean pop when they are really the same thing implying that the only reason they like Korean pop is because it's Korean... They act like all Koreans will love them if they listen to some crappy idol group.

  • @MrConsumerWhore1 i agree with you for me kpop and a pop is not much different except language one is english the other is korean+konglish but still.... they are all pop i mean i like pop a lot don't mean anything else

  • @MrConsumerWhore1 haha if SNSD is that girl band then they are definitely shit. Manafactured bands have and always will be crap. Let me guess SNSD won some talent show on tv like the XFactor or PopIdol. I do think though that Korea has alot of hidden talent, as seen by this band The Black Skirts and Hot Potato, even though i admit i have no idea what they are singing about, but the music at least tells me that they are gd regardless of the fact i cant understand what they are singing.

  • @arteddie - SNSD trained really hard before they debuted, just because they are a manufactured kpop group doesn't mean you should hate on them. :/

  • @1412Bunny I dont hate them its just not my cup of tea. I know bands such as SNSD train really hard as do bands as The Black Skirts and rappers such as Bang Yong Guk and i respect all of them for their hard work, but sometimes it comes to a point when music just becomes tosh

  • @MrConsumerWhore1 Ap'un mee chin nyun, Yumago

im black and yeah I like korean pop but i like rock, ballads and jazz too. I listen to it alot and like i listen to music from america from different genres. i but u listen 2 american music so u fuck off AND BET U listen 2 some of our pop WHO CANT SING BUT JUST HAS NICE BEATS. ITS ALOT OF THEM TOO. u know english so must hav some interest U.S., its not cool that any or anybody can experience american culture but we cant do the same.

  • @95bswasiafreak

If you listen to Kpop and American pop I have no problem with you :) I just don't like it when stupid ass foreigners act like k-pop is superior to western pop when in reality they are both the same. 12 year old white girls are extremely guilty of this lol. I do listen to some western rock but NO pop. That's why I enjoy all types of rock and rap. I don't discriminate among the chosen genres... Sorry if I came off brutal.

  • seriously. I love korean indie music way better than mainstream pop crap..

  • 정말 와닿는 멜로디와 목소리... ㅠㅠ

  • <333

    what is this song called?

  • Comment removed

  • "좋아해줘" (Jyowahaejyo), which translates roughly to "please like me"

  • I think.... "Pleas LOVE Me" might be better..

  • Yeah. "좋아", like "love" itself, is a versatile word. Maybe "please care about me"? It's a meaning somewhere in the space around like, love and a desire for those things.

  • Love them. I love "Tangled". Check it out.

  • The lead singer's voice's great!

  • these guys are really cute. it's about time korea started putting out more bands like this. Japan seems to be doing way better in the way of indie bands.

  • Japan is the 2nd largest music industry in the world though, so they have a lot of everything. I suspect that this kind of music isn't popular in Korea anyway which is a shame. But oh well these guys are still really good.

  • true.. all cuz sadly korea is dominated by "produced" pop idol groups which is also the "in thing" koreans are so prone to.. so none of good bands or groups get publicity unless they really stand out to the public or have a good company behind them.. tragedy indeed..

  • reminds me of okgo~

  • even though im korean, i suck at korean, so i'm still learning korean...any tips on how to learn korean very fast? and dont worry, to say anything, since im korean i can learn it fast if i try...also my parents speak Korean so its a little bit of an advantage.

  • i would recommend listening to a lot of korean music! it really helps; especially if you sing along with the song, and look up unfamiliar words. i think it helps with pronunciation, and just being comfortable with the language. oh yeah, and try going on korean websites~ use it as much as possible :D good luck!

  • I am teaching myself Japanese and now that I'm getting far along there I'm starting Chinese. Download virtual flashcards, they are great for vocab. I use websites called Japanesepod101 and Chineseclass101 which I think are owned by the same company. They are great and I bet that they have a Korean site. Getting a lot out of that costs money, so only do it if you're gonna put serious time into it. PM me if you want, I've been going through the daily grind of self study for hours each day.

  • "Like Me"

  • Comment removed

  • what does "cho ah hah choa" meeen??
