yes, that sure is the ocean floor. The tide goes out further in different parts of the Bay of Fundy. In some parts of the Minas Basin (on the Nova Scotia side of BoF) it goes out a couple miles. Lots of time for skooshing around in the mud!!

I live in moncton n.b i have been to fundy many times, but have never seen the tide out that far!
