  • Mike Huckabee is a class act. Not sure if he would be a good president. But he seems to be a very good man.

  • one question.WHAT DA FUCK IS UP WITH THE MUSIC???

  • Epic Politics!

  • I hope Mike is our next President..

  • Comment removed

  • Huckabee = the next president!

  • huckabee is a nice guy...but he's more suited for show business.

  • nice vid

    huck's a good sport.

  • Look folks, stick to the topic at hand. You look like idiots talking about something totally unrealated to this video.

  • If John McCain would have taken Huck as his vp and taken Huck's platform, they could have beaten Obama. Huckabee is going to be president....2012 is his year!!!!!

  • He kicks McCain's ass as a leader.

  • Why isn't he McCain's VP?

  • Pastor Mike, the true contender that will take The White House by storm in 2012. His light-hearted humor makes me feel happy inside : )

  • God bless Huckabee!

  • Huckabee has a sense of humor and has been featured on these shows many times becuase of that. He knows exactly what was going on.

  • Does Huckabee know that Colbert is making fun of him?

  • I am sure he does. Huckabee shows a better sense of humor than most politicians. Also, it is pretty apparent that he knows it's a joke when he asks Colbert to be his running mate.

  • The jab at Romney was priceless.

  • A bass-playing minister who knows how to cook squirrel, lost 100 lbs, and served as governor of Arksnsas. You can't dream up stuff like that. I see a sitcom for Huck. I know I'd watch!

  • Mabie then you and those who support him can make this nation what you want it to be: a complete and utter theocracy, where religion is a product of the state, and any forms of Christianity or other religions it disagrees with are supressed.

  • we are slowly going into a hellenistic scoiety. If anything the minoritys are trying to out-law christianity everywhere where they can. This was founded as christian nation but do to influencial people in the media we are losing sight of that. I believe athiests and other groups are the ones who are doing the surpressing here.

  • uh, no. The founders never intended this to be a nation founded on one faith. You're thinking of the pilgrims, who, let's face it, had little or nothing to do with the development of this nation. Moreover, I don't remember it said that we christians could not express our faith publicly. Legal issues involving faith have to do with issues of the state, not individual expression.

  • So you call only teaching evolution in schools fair? People claim that both are theories so why not teach both of them and give students a choice. Btw our forefathers did intend this to be a nation based on faith hence the 'in God we trust" on our currency, swearing on the bible in court ect. Patrick Henry said "our naTION Was founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Washington said "it is impossible for a nation to be rightly governed without God and the Bible. Their hope for us was clear.

  • The teaching of evelution in schools is more then fair, as religion is not a theory but a belief which nither can or cannot be proven. Also, If you looked beyond your circles for info about the founders, you would see that they had very different ideas about faith then you claim. The "In God We Trust" is not ment to be a refrence to any partucular deity. In considering Washington, you must take those remarks in the context they were given.

  • Dont give me that, people will call creationism a belief or theory depending on the circumstance. If its just a belief then why did our school systems teach it for so long? They must have considered it to be a theory otherwise by your definition it could not be taught as a belief. Society is robbing christians of their influence over the youth by teaching macro-evolution, which in the end points to atheism.

  • Our school systems tought creationism before a standard of education in ths country was established, and before this country was united as a nation. If evelution (or as you call it in your terminology macro evelution)is in its nature athiest why in the past did prominent Christians like the late pope believe in it?

  • It doesnt matter what crowd Washington was peaking to, his words are clear and he tried to govern our nation upon those principles. Secondly, I have read many Washington quotes and I find non of them alarming or contradicting to the quote I have stated. And as for the pope, he is a catholic figure and not a christian one per say. I dont want to get into an argument about him but I will just say that as for my faith, he is a not a factor in it.

  • oh and i'm curious as to what your rebutle to patrick Henrys words is....Along with the full "context" of Washingtons quote because those words are pretty clear no matter what the context.

  • One must look at washington as an honorable man, a leader and patriot, but in certain context as a politician. When he was using the words you alud to he was speaking to largly chrisian audience. Look up other quotes by him and you will be suprised.

  • via hucka-lite. so funny. i hope they win.

  • Go Mike Hucabee! Ron Paul and Romney need too drop out!

  • stay a huckaBEe! haha!

  • Huckabee/colbert 08

  • i'm not crazy about huckabee, but anything to get stephen into the white house.

  • Same Here!! I can't believe south carolina wouldn't put him on the ballot...

  • conan made huckabee!!!!!

  • conan made poop in the toilet and thats about it.

  • WRONG conan shot colbert

    yeaaaahhh wat colbet do

    nothing

  • did you fail elementary school? i can't understand what you're trying to tell me.

  • ya because if colbert made huckabee and jon stewart made colbert and conan then by default conan made huckabee

  • HUCKABEE 08-12!!!!

  • you know colbert does satire....right!? He praises Papa bear O'Reilly too...hahah

  • Yeah, haha. He's a Dem, but he did an interview with Larry King where he genuinely expressed how he liked Huckabee.

  • huckabee is a friend of the show.

  • colbert supports paul

  • no he doesnt..

    what makes you think that?

  • Huckabee says it's an issue of honor. I think that's fluffing it up and making it pretty. It's really a PRIDE issue.

  • Im not worried about image Im worried about the future. If we leave there is the possibility that things will escelate and we'll have to return to an even bigger war later.I acknowladge we were WRONG to go in there in the 1st place but now we cant just leave them hanging we have to clean up our mess.Lets finish this now so we dont have MORE problems later (Korea for example,if we had finished that one insted of ending it at the 38th parallel we wouldnt have the whole psycho NK leader issue now)

  • Are you joking? "Are you a quitter?" Is this whole war just a pissing contest for you? Are you willing to see 2,000 more Americans die in an illegal war just to satisfy your own pitiful ego...

Neiviesis is right: RON PAUL 2008!

  • publias, huckabee wants to finish the war. i think it would be terrible if we just left and were seen as quitters. are you a quitter?

  • I don't think it matters what we look like in the end. Our public image comes second to our troops' well-being.

That being said, it is important that we end this war, and soon. I don't think leaving suddenly would be a good choice. However, taying in any longer than is needed to strengthen the Iraqi government would be terrible as well.

  • Most of America is on the left, which is set on seeing us lose the war in Iraq.

We are winning there, and Huckabee wants to stay in there until the job is done. Americans don't back out and retreat.

  • winning what? the right to permanently occupy?

  • Thanks for your stupid comment. I just lost about 10 IQ points.

  • Lmao, your remark to the stupid comment just gained my 10 back. Thanks CampbellCrazie. =)

  • There's no need for exaggerated questions from people such as kellann55. Nobody can seem to bring a meaningful argument, other than to just spew the same Ron Paul jargon. None can ever seem to answer anything for themselves. They just propose "what if's" and "why not's".

  • "None can ever seem to answer anything for themselves. They just propose "what if's" and "why not's"."

no one mentioned ron paul, don't change the subject, tell us why you think we're gonna win... give us the "whys" since we obviously can't think of any...

oh, and you're not allowed to use "faith" as an argument either (unless you want to insult 4000 dead americans).

  • those crazy morons in the other video have a point though: who WOULD Jesus bomb? It really seems like a double standard, doesn't it?

  • I agree with you 100% CampbellCrazie!

  • Huckabee is awesome.

  • Hey CampbellCrazie, I have a deal for you. I have 2 movies for you to watch. I don't know if they are truth or fiction, that would be up to you to judge for yourself.

If you'll watch them, I'll accept any reading or movie(s)(up to 2)assignment of your choice. And then we can compare notes another day. What do you say?

    #1 Google: ZEITGEIST, The Movie

#2 Google: TerrorStorm by Alex Jones

You have nothing to lose and perhaps another opinion to consider.

  • haha, well I will if you agree to calm down, and I'll do the same. I'm not one usually to get upset, but we have drawn this out quite too much. I'm heading out to dinner, but I'll consider that proposal.

  • Although Taha told her fellow students at Norwich that she wanted to return to Iraq to teach biology, she went instead to work for Iraq's germ warfare program. In 1985, she worked in the al-Muthanna chemical plant near Baghdad, and later became chief production officer in al-Hakam/al-Hakum, Iraq's top-secret biological-warfare facility at the time.

  • Dr. Rihab Rashid Taha al-Azawi (born 1957) is an Iraqi microbiologist who worked in Saddam Hussein's biological weapons program. A 1999 report commissioned by the United States Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) named her as one of the world's most dangerous women. She was nicknamed "Dr. Germ" by UN weapons inspectors. Dr Taha has admitted producing germ warfare agents, but said they had been destroyed.

  • Yes she did but, was it a crime? Was her intent to use these agent against others? Why was she producing these agents? Who ordered her to make them? Did she do it freely with intent to kill others or was she mandated to do it by a ruthless dictator?

Not charged, not convicted, yet slandered and not vindecated and you say that's American.

If that's the way it is in this country then we're all in trouble pal. Bring on the gestapo.

  • Taha is married to the British-educated General Dr. Amir Mohammad Rashid al-Ubaidi, the former Iraqi oil minister and director of Iraq's Military Industrial Corporation, which was responsible for Saddam's advanced weapons programs.

In 1997, Saddam Hussein awarded Taha a medal of scientific achievement and, prior to the 2003 war on Iraq, broadcasts were aired showing Taha and Saddam sitting next to each other.

  • Oh yeah, right! They mobile biological labs too in the back of semi trucks too.

C'mon those lies were debunked long ago, remember there was a commission formed to determine if Bush willfully lied to the American people or if he actually received poor intelligence. There were no weapons, except the ones we provided to him years before. And they were worthless as a weapon.

  • Google "Dr. Germ" and take your conspiracies else where. Iraq had developed dozens of anthrax tipped rockets on their own.

  • You better re-read it.

Yet, when Rihab "Dr. Germ" Taha and Huda "Mrs. Anthrax" Ammash, both of whom were once on a Pentagon most-wanted list, were released after two-and-a-half years, their US captors didn't even announce it.

  • I am completely aware of that.

However, according to your logic, we shouldn't worry about that.

  • When questioned afterward as to why no war crimes charges had been brought against the pair, US commander Gen. George Casey said in a joint statement with the US ambassador to Iraq, Zalmay Khalilzad, that they "no longer posed a security threat to the people of Iraq and to the Coalition forces." US forces "therefore, had no legal basis to hold them any longer."

  • Nor was the acknowledgement that the Iraqis were still presumed innocent deemed worthy of comment by the very news outlets that had previously reduced them to cartoon-character villains, with only slim wire reports generally announcing the news.

  • Or were you referring to that little cartoon character "Mr Germ"? Is that where you get your news?

Do you really consider yourself knowledgable and well informed?

  • No editorials apologized for the publication in major American media outlets of wild and unattributed charges against them--including the gruesome accusation that deadly weapons had been tested on Abu Ghraib prisoners under Hussein.

  • The fact is, all of the top scientists in Iraq consistently told first UN and then US inspectors before and after the invasion that Iraq, hobbled by inspections and sanctions, had no functioning WMD programs or usable WMDs in recent years.

  • WoMDs were not found, I think we all know that. However, not only the US, but other foreign intelligences such as Britain, India, and Russia etc. thought Iraq was either A. in possession of one, or B. in production of one.

As for Taha, you said it for me, she was not a "new breed". She was conducting tests similar to that of the Nazi SS 'doctors'.

  • I didn't say it, it was in the article that NBC called her that:

"NBC had bluntly called Taha typical of a "new breed of third world weapons designers."

She was never charged or convicted and NBC made no apology for their comments.

C'mon, I'm wasting my time if you only read and hear what you want to. Are you that brainwashed? Turn off that TV and read something. Get smart before it's too late.

  • There was no need for NBC to apologize. She indulged this evidence and admitted to these creations. I still don't understand how you can't grasp that. Yes, there never was a formal charge, we did make a mistake in that area, but there is no need to apologize to a terrorist and criminal 'doctor'.

  • And what makes her a terrorist criminal doctor? There was no evidence she committed terrorism, there were no charges. Are you going to judge her because she's from Iraq or because she's Muslim?

What if it were you and Saddam said, you will do this and you will bring results or I'll kill you and your children.

I don't know the situation nor do you but the fact that she has not been charged or convicted should give her the benefit of the doubt. Or are we no longer a country of laws?

  • I suppose we could also call you a terrorist too, slander you too without evidence, no charges, just spread the word around your town and make things up. You'd be ok with that?

  • Did you read? She admitted. ADMITTED. You keep attacking me for lying and then you talk about why she was forced to test and create biological and chemical weapons.

I have nothing against Muslims. Don't you dare draw ridiculous claims. I have problems with terrorists.

  • I see, you also have a problem with the rule of law and evidence.

I'm not attacking you, just trying to get you to think about what you are saying instead of mimicking the TV set like a mynnah bird.

Open your eyes, think with your own brain, not Bill O'Hannity's (or the like). they get paid big money to spew somebody else's message. You don't.

  • I've never heard this from any mainstream news agency. I did this as research on my own personal time.

I'm not mimicking anyone or the TV set. I see you have a problem with the rule of "law and evidence."

  • I'm not sure what you mean. Where is your reference, the DIA? they never charged her. They let her go? Not convicted! She committed no crime. She was not sent to the Hague! No evidence.

Also, why am I having a problem with rule of law? I'm sorry but everything you have said sounds like stuff I see all day long on the web attributed to one of the mainstream media circuses, or News Entertainment. You heard of ET (entertainment tonight) Well that's NE.

  • The work: A Profile of WMD Proliferants: Are There Commonalities? ... Proliferators of Weapons of Mass Destruction

  • I read the work you recommended and found much of it to be speculative. begining with the disclaimer:

The views expressed in this academic research paper are those of the author and do

not reflect the official policy or position of the US government or the Department of

Defense. In accordance with Air Force Instruction 51-303, it is not copyrighted, but is the

property of the United States government.

  • And culminating in the authors conclusions:

    The reader has the

opportunity to draw conclusions for the tabulated results. However, more data than what

is available would be required in order to draw any meaningful conclusions.

  • I'm not sure how you could come up with any meaningful quotable facts from this report.

It was compiled in 1997 and so it may have some historical reference but facts are not even being claimed by the author or the DIA.

  • This is, however, the type of writing that gets leaked to the press to get the American people chomping at the bit and wondering when they will become victim to an enemy assault.

That's eally all it takes to muster support for a war. Fear!

  • NBC had bluntly called Taha typical of a "new breed of third world weapons designers...willing to violate any international norms or scientific ethics," while Judith Miller in the New York Times referred to her as "Dr. Death," based on the testimony of a disgruntled former co-worker of hers then in the "protective custody" of known false-intelligence pusher Ahmed Chalabi.

  • They even have a clown (Cobert)for the ignorant ones, who waves the flag and makes absurd political comments which serve to only put your mind in a ineuphoria, that all is going well and our leaders know what they are doing, we must stand behind them, etc, etc. When nothing could be further from the truth.

  • Stephen Colbert is an entertainer and comedian. It's his job to make absurd political comments. I mean...really...he endorsed Ron Paul too, how crazy is this guy?

But he makes the laughs, and that's what he's paid for.

  • Despite Huckabee's campaign mantra, "I'm proud of my record as a fiscal conservative," by the end of his second term as Arkansas governor he had raised sales taxes 37 percent, fuel taxes 16 percent, and cigarettes taxes 103 percent.

These actions and others while in the governor's mansion in Little Rock helped ramp up total state tax revenues from $3.9 billion to $6.8 billion.

  • As required by the state courts. Regardless, he balanced the budget, created a surplus, added jobs, lowered unemployment, improved roads, improved education etc etc.

He has signed a tax pledge to lower taxes and wants to push forth the Fair Tax, which your boy Pauly wants.

  • My Boy wants to eliminate the IRS and replace it with nothing. He also wants sound money that cannot be devalued so we can fight an illegal war.

Your boy Huckabeen" will contunue the murderous occupation of sovereign countries and send the american people the bill for it.

  • Huckabee will continue to SUCCEED in Iraq and overseas. Unlike the ISOLATIONIST policies of Paul, Huckabee believe in diplomacy, but will use force if necessary to protect American and sovereign allies' lives.

We go to great extremes to save lives, terrorists go to great extremes to take them.

  • I don't think you understand, he's part of the same establishment that hands you a Bible wrapped in a flag, swears to protect you then goes back to business as usual, he'll cave to the masters who rule this planet.

RP is not an isolationist, he want trade and friendship without entanglements with other countries. We have no business supplying Israel and Arabs with money and weapons of mass destruction.

  • A Bible wrapped in a flag? You sound exactly like Paul when he accused Huckabee of being a fascist.

I don't know when you last checked, every Republican supports growing relations and economic ties with foreign countries. However, there is this thing called TERRORISM

  • Yes that's right there is a thing called terrorism, and what our gov't policy is doing is exactly that, terrorizing muslim countries. for the purpose of filling their big corprate backers pockets with money they are stealing from you and I.

  • Then just so nobady can squawk about it, the enact unconstitutional laws like, the patriot act which essentially take away your right to habeas corpus and HR 1955 that takes away your right to free speech and assembly.

C'mon, I know you and other Americans are wise enough to see this, you just have to shake off the mainstream media buzz that has your head spinning and chanting hooray for the USA and God Bless America.

Our leaders are not America, we are.

  • And about Paul accusing Huckabee of being a facist, where was that comment made? Is there a credible reference somewhere on the net, I'd like to follow up on that to see if there's any truth to that statement.

I've never heard it before but then, I don't watch mainstream media, ever.

  • It's not allowing me to post a link. Just go to Google (News Tab) and type: "paul calls huckabee a fascist"

  • I saw that news clip, if you look at it again, you'll see he did not call Huckabee a facist, he comented on the appearance of the TV ad when he quoted:

"It reminds me of what Sinclair Lewis once said. He says, 'When fascism comes to this country, it will be wrapped in the flag, carrying a cross.'"

The Newsman asked him direct if he thought Huckabee was a facist and Paul said no. Part of the clip is intentionally omitted from opponents tarnscripts.

  • This is what i mean when I account most of what you say to mainstream media sound bites.

Every crackpot pundit couldn't wait to say Ron Paul called Huckabee a facist but there was no truth to it at all, just another sound bite you took for truth..

  • If you take some time to bone up on history you will find we have financed both sides to the Israel/Pal conflict for decades.

Our Gov't borrows money to print currency to fund war, to murder innocent people. Sounds like you have been feeding at the mainstream media bullshit counter.

  • The last time I checked, terrorists are not "innocent people". We do not murder innocent citizens. Yes, there are unfortunate casualties of war, but we do not MURDER innocent lives. Casualty losses are always going to exist in modern day warfare, just as they have throughout the course of history.

  • The problem is that they are senseless casualties. If we were not meddling in the middle east affairs, building bases and occupying their lands, they would not be trying to kill us for it.

Read the 9-11 commission report, listen to thier reasons for thier attacks on us.

  • Our gov't is financing a war on terror and financing both sides of it. They give money and weapons to Israel who kill Palestinians and then support arab nations who kill Jews.

This has been going on forever. We have no business over in that mess, this is their conflict.

We are only there because Haliburton and other contractors make money off of your taxes.

  • In Iraq, the reason they accused Saddam of having chemical and biological weapons is because they got them from us.

We supply the weapons to most of the world. We gave Afganistan weapons to run the Russians out too, we give money to Pakistan and the Pakistan people harbor BinLaden.

We have no business handing money out that we have to borrow and we can't afford. It would be foolhearty even if we could afford.

  • Negative. Iraq had multiple biological and chemical plants. You keep referring to old events in which insurgents actually did receive money. But obviously that is a thing of the past. The only reason terrorists get indirect money from the US now is because we purchase billions of dollars for Middle Eastern oil. Mike Huckabee supports energy independence, as does Paul I believe.

  • Take a short look at this video and see if you still think he'll really be able to lower taxes. (although he never lowered them before, just shifted them)

    watch?v=I-16u9x3tfE

  • why is he the only viable canidate who supports the Fairtax?

  • Who? I do not understand the question.

  • too stupid ? you moron, he was even funnier than Colbert himself, just read the NY Times article about it, the man is hilarious. He's not my preferential presidential candidate, but he sure has the best sense of humor.

  • ROFL, huck is too stupid to figure out colbert mocks him so bad

    LOL

  • My question is, Is an endorsement by Colbert really an endorsement or is it actually mocking Huckabee?

  • nah, I've seen Colbert interviewed before, just as his actual self, not the acting form, and he commented about how he really did like Huckabee

he might disagree with him politically, but he likes the guy

  • He got crushed in NH

  • I think it's fair to say he did much better than was planned. He used to be an asterisk not too long ago in the polls.

  • What the heck is Colbert doing?

    Is he a Hucka-sheep too?

  • He gave Huckabee the "Colbert Bump" after endorsing him.

  • Stay a Huckabee, not a Huckawas!

  • haha, exactly!

  • I wonder how many times he said 'honour'?

  • go huckabee!
