  • Whatever happened to the band MOCK from Santa Cruz..? Did they ever record an album? They used to play with Bl'ast all the time.. Great band..!!

  • great postt i love blast flag, my old band played w/them at club culture back in the yadadadada... not the first HC band out of the cruz tthough! MAD , the child prostittues and the scapegoats and a few otthers im probably forgettting all played hardcore in tthe cruz a couple years earlier.

  • BLAST was MAD they changed there name from MAD to BLAST in 1983! And the SCAPEGOATS were a punk rock band.. There was alot of punk rock bands back then but BLAST/MAD and 1 or 2 others had a early HARDCORE sound in 1979-80 thru 1987 in S.C
