Thanks for making this video. I've heard a lot of negative reviews from expats living in Korea and the discrimination they face. No country is perfect, but I hope this upbeat view is the way of the future
Of the accounts of foreigners in Korea on blogs, youtube videos, etc., their occupations were pretty much either English teachers or businessmen/women. I'm curious... can foreigners get other jobs like educated native Koreans, working in areas like law, the government, music, nursing, etc? Cuz like I said, the only jobs I've heard foreigners having are teaching English and working in business, and I'm not interested in either ><
@KunoichiiTaicho Korea refuses to adopt a second language of any kind, so it's unlikely non-Koreans would come here to work in fields where mastery of Korean is required.
My cousin lived in Korea for a year teaching English....he loved it so much he's trying to get teaching permit again to teach English there and this time for good....
This must be Seoul. Being a non-Korean in Seoul must be great, but most of us don't live in Seoul. You should try a video about non-Koreans who live in small towns in the countryside. It isn't so nice.
@MikeOfKorea I'm assuming you speak from first-hand experience with the not-so-friendly treatment of foreigners in the countryside... if so, what was it like? :S
@MikeOfKorea I said treatment because I thought that was what you were referring to, so sorry about that, but you should have specified that as well. And regarding my comment on foreigners and jobs, obviously the foreigners would have to know Korean first, which was what I was asking. Thanks for your input though.
I also think the diet is better not a lot of fat in the in soups, stews, and they barbeque a lot. Plus it is very taste to me. There is a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables in the diet.
I love korea!!

@KunoichiiTaicho "treatment"? Why do you use that word? I wasn't talking about treatment, just the lack of western food and amenities.
