Lake Mead is filled by the melting snows here on the Western Slopes of Colorado last years snows brought Lake mead back up to within 37 feet of it's peak depth of about 850 ft. This year is another huge year for snow on the Western slopes of Colorado. I suspect that this year the bath tub ring around lake Mead will disappear altogether...so much for global warming.
