Chytrid (DB) is treatable in captivity, EVACC treat all there frogs, and frogs can be succesfuly rid of it. In captivity Chytrid can be treated with lamasil and has a 90% succes rate. It is not treatable in the wild due to having to stop the fungus not just cure individuals.
Its a fungus that grows on amphibians, it was thought to be brought to the U.S. by the African Clawed Frog. It doesn't effect babies as much but can be deadly as adults. I don't know exactly everything about it but you could find the information on google. Just make sure to treat every new amphibian you get.

I do not treat for that fungus as I only have a single frog when i get more I will treat
SnakeKeeperDavid 3 years ago
You should still treat because most amphibians carry it and it will most likely kill your frog as an adult
