Why are people always hating on michael bay's transformers? He was obviously trying to go with a more realistic tone, who would really take anime cartoon robots in a real life setting seriously?

@TheScorpionMK37 Exactly! I mean, sure, the G1 robot designs are iconic, but they look more like humans wearing armor with a few vehicle parts added on then real robots. Not very realistic looking. Bay's designs are more robotic, more alien in nature, with all these little gears and servos that are constantly in motion. Not to say that the G1 robots are bad looking, they just don't translate well in real life. This video is a good try, though!

Looks good like the original Prime, and the graphics are quite sweet.

It also looks like he hasn't transformed in years and is real tired. Look at how he stumbles at 0:04. That doesn't mean it's not good. It'just looks a little funny.
