First of all, this is coming from someone who knows some operators, it is official, but just because the Army declines to talk about it doesn't really mean anything. Awesome song choice... kick ass. My unit likes to use Sonne from the same album, track 3.

Delta does not officially exist, but if it did, it would be made up of those of certain specialities. They would come from all branches including civilians. The Civilians would go to the same training and be attached to Operational Detachments. Well if they really existed. They are not called soldiers either, there official title if they existed is Operators.

Delta/SFOD-D/CAG does officially exist. They would not be able to legally participate in ANY operation otherwise, not at least under the watchful eyes of the UN. Just because the US Army refuses to comment on the unit doesn't mean anything.

@rap4656 All Spec Ops are referred to as Operator's. DELTA does exist just as DEVGRU, MAIKO, HRT, Ground Branch and other CT UNITs. DELTA originally only recruted from Army's Green beret's(Their blank owner's were all Green Beret's) and Ranger's but since the war began they have offerd slots at selection for a few other Branch's Spec Ops 90% is stil Army though. But there are no Civilians in DELTA never has never will.
