  • Wonderfull interpretation by mr. Lars Roos! Unfortunately it seems that the level of listeners is sinking, as I read de comments below. Is the the new level of people listening to classical music? It will be time that YouTube will refuse these kind of comments. The World is Sinking, the great pianist Horowitz said, some years befor his death. And he was right!

  • I once recorded a friend playing a piano concerto in public. There were the sounds of coughs, sneezes, things being dropped, whispering, inappropriately-timed applause, which I offered to edit out. "NO," he said, " for it's like an audio painting of a time and place, showing this isn't a studio or rehearsal performance. It captures the essence of a live performance, the tension, the delight, the boredom, the whole scope of a live performance." Roos is playing for both perfection AND PEOPLE.

  • fucking audience

  • Lack of commonsence there big time.

    Turn the fuckin cell off!!

  • dumbass audience members....

  • I'd think he doesn't take some rests good

    (Sorry my English is bad)

  • what a great performance of this! fuckin' audience...

  • Amazing interpretation.

Besides that i can't believe how people cant turn off their phones.

I can understand that some people can't hold their coughs, but the phone ringing its just too disrespectful.

For those who said "i was into the music, i didn't heard any phone, you r trying to find things to do bad comments about the video," and stuff like that.

I should recommend you to get a better audio system for your computers, or see a otolaryngologist.

Excuse my limited english and thanks.

  • fucking rediculous noises in the audience :/

  • i was the one who coughed.. and my cellphone starting ringing .. fbm.

  • the best I've heard of this song! I loved it!

  • fantastique!

  • I can't play this anywhere near as beautifully.

  • No. I do not think killing would work with the coughers, Concert organizers should have a crew of Taliban on the concert premises, in mufti. Then when someone coughs, the Cough Crew would take them to a convenient place (within hearing of the audience) and beat the livin' daylights out of 'em (with clothes on for modesty's sake) like the Taliban does for any small religious infraction. The would then be permitted to return to the concert. "Pour encourager les autres"!

  • Very nice! In my opinion certain parts are too fast but it's a lovely interpretation of a beautiful piece

  • Where's this place? Looks more like a museum than a concert hall..

  • ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME A CELL PHONE AT THE MOST INTENSE, EMOTIONAL, MUSICALLY GENIUS PART OF THE SONG? If I ever played for an audience that unbelievably rude I would stop playing and leave.

  • It's a recording of a live performance in front of an audience - of course it contains sounds created by them. If you want to listen to the song without any other sounds, you can listen to a recording of the song. A recording would have been reviewed by those recording it. It could have been performed several times, and the best recording could have been selected. Why bother watching someone play it, when you can listen to an approved recording of it?

  • The phone comes in at around 1:35 as well. That person is just plain rude. Also, if you have a scratchy throat or cold, don't go to a concert like this! Just don't go!

  • Amazing interpretation

  • Lovely.

  • 1:21 !!!!!! ♥♥♥

  • @LostHighway21 Yeah, indeed it is definitly the best part of the overall amazing interpretation!

  • To that fucker with the cell phone:

    SHUT YOUR FUCK SHIT.

    That is all.

  • @ThePolandball rofl

  • i love this song i copy it to a finale file it took me 2 weeks to copy it.its so hard but it worth it. this video is great exept for the cell fuck you ownwer of the cell i hope something hapen to him/her

  • wonderful..

  • I Want Revenge! bit . ly/jerku

  • FUCK the cell phone

    and fuck the owner, too

    that's rude

    i wanna slap her/him

  • its lame, the piano is a good piano, the pianist is a good piano, the auditorium is a good auditorium. didnt they had someone in the door checking for cellphones?

  • This has made me so sad, this is an amazing performance but all the background noise ruins it. Poor man, I'd be so annoyed

  • This so beautiful!

  • cellphones!!!

  • YES LET'S FUCKING KILL all caughers who should be in SANATORIUM instead of AUDITORIUM.

I'm sick oh them and their careless attention to the artist and audience.

  • man i think that's a bit harsh, what if they HAD to cough.

but i agree to an extent coughing during a performance is very impolite.

  • @SingHouse or they just have to cough for a medical reason..... DURP

  • @SingHouse I know what you mean. But, I think we all need to be more patient and forgiving in this world. Plus, many people are more sick from the nasty atmosphere we've created then ever before, in contrast to what lying scientists say. Just my opinion.

  • @bookjunky34 Yeah I'm gonna need to check your citations on that one.

  • @sleepytimejesse Check out the W.H.O. World Health Organization website. Should give you some insight. Of course, I DID say it was just my opinion. When I said "Lying scientists", I was referring to the false assertion that human life expectancy has been lengthened and that general health has gone up. I certain pockets of the world, the general health has gone up. But 3500 years ago, we were living 70 or 80 years, and today our life expectancy is still between 70 and 80 years.

  • @bookjunky34 When I was a kid in the 1980's they said we were living longer, then the last decade, maybe 2 years longer. They said the same thing this past year. The average age has never been higher then 80. While I didn't do a massive study on the subject to write a paper, a half witted moron can see that, old news is rehashed as new, and we still live basically the same length of time we did in the 1980's.

  • @bookjunky34 Also, W.H.O. has continually expressed concern over the ever increasing diversity of disease and viruses and their ability to resist drugs, even new ones. So, we are definitely not healthier globally. If you want more information that comes from reliable sources, I can do the research and do a proper citation for you. Otherwise, take it for what it is: opinion.

  • @bookjunky34 testing posting

  • @bookjunky34 I was going to refer you to a PDF file on W.H.O.'s website on air pollution, but youtube won't allow the posting. You'll have to do a search on their site, if you really want to know.

  • This was lovely. Am I the only one that doesn't like the feel of steinway pianos?

  • @iGookin never had the privilege. What's it like?

  • @SingHouse it has a really nice sound, but the pedals are really stiff. I like the shape of the keys, but you really have to dig into them to get sound. But the last time I played one the pedal annoyed me so much I just couldn't stand it.

  • @iGookin I don't know. I reallt like the feeling of playing on a Steinway. It's acutally my favorite pianos. It sounds so great :)

  • i was so much into the song... didnt hear a phone :/ u guys suck trying to find something to comment on bad about this vid

  • Beautifully piece,

the coughs were ok, but what's about that cellphone issue there? isn't it a common sense that ppl should turn off their cellphones before this? ughhhh just drives me nuts!

  • and ps if i was that guy i would've just stood up when the cell phone rang and been like 'FUCK ALL Y'ALL'

  • i want to watch this, but the coughing and sneezing and cell phone ringing and shuffling just ruin it.

why do people seem to need to cough when someone is performing

  • too cold slow down and imagine while u are performing

  • @ludola2911 Hah! Who the fuck are you? Seriously. This guy went to Juilliard. When's the last time you played Sweden?

  • It appears that you are deaf.

The cell phone ringing is at 1:51 to 1:55

  • @ssuper17 and 1:38 to 1:43

  • @ssuper17 yes I also heard it....coughs are not that represable though....one can always turn off a mobile before entering the theatre.

  • @ssuper17 Omg you can barely hear the phone.

  • @ssuper17 mabey he just had his volume turned down i had mine down then i saw this iturned it up then i heard it lol

  • did u here the cell phone ringin @ 1:15

  • Yes. I think that was absolutely rude to have your cell phone on in such a setting...

  • Yeah. But who cares about that rude person anyway

  • third
