Sai Baba is the most famous holy man in all India, and worldwide he has many millions of devotees. He speaks of Mother Meera as an avatar. The reason she does not give darshan to children is because you have to sit 2 hrs quiet and still Mother Meera only works in silence.

Mother Meera is a homophobe and a fake.. I went to Germany for her darshan in 1991. It was useless. The people around her are very rude, especially her husband. Today she's in Cleveland (Oct 14 '01) and I will be picketing in front of the venue. Wish me luck! Premji, you are advanced.. you can see God everywhere (even in Charles Manson.) Meera is not worthy of praise though.. she is no Ramana Maharshi or Nisargadatta Maharaj.. SHE WON'T EVEN SEE CHILDREN!!! She hurt Andrew!

I am a practising buddhist and take my teachings from the lotus sutra .... i had no knowledge of MM whatsoever and i went because a freind went and he told me it changed his life so we went together tonight ... it was a real experience and one that i would recommend

She asks for nothing and gives the gift of bliss. We have to open our mouth to get food. One can open oneself to experience without belief, and allow experience to unfold. If there is no "food", then we know.

The very urge to declare oneself as a so-called avatar to get the endorsement of such learned people like yourself, stings of deceit. The only Truth is the Now and not the self-professed avatars, be they Mother Meera, Amma Amritanandamayi, Mataji Nirmala Devi or Sai Baba.
