Alot of people say, that the dam is built the wrong way round and if it was curved in the otherway their would be alot less pressure on it when flooding. I don't know whether its true or not.
@walesyddraiggoch it's true. I have never seen a dam curved like this always the other way. A dam curved like this doesn't make sense if you think about it. Well, the engineers probably had their reasons.
I really miss Powys, and all the Dams. I used to see a well to do girl from LLanidloes called Katherine. She was lovely, and went off to do medicine or something. Her dad was creepy and it turned out that he used to abuse her when she was young. Just shows, you never can tell!!!

This is a stunning video of clywedog spilling over. My dad had a hand in building this dam so it has a place in my heart. Brilliant!!!
