Question: I understand the concept of alcohol, etc. enhancing the mind systems, thus possibly pushing ourselves further into it, although I feel you can enjoy wine or whatever and still be conscious of what you are doing and where you stand within this dimension. Cigarettes don't change my perspective. For instance when I drink alcohol, i feel more uninhibited, or loving for instance. but with cigarettes my perspective remains the same. for me they support in remaining Here in the physical.
I partly agree with what you're saying.But I have my very own concept of this world which is sometimes so complicated that even I,as the "creator" of my own concept have trouble following it.But I believe that "we" don't just sieze to exist as soon as we die.I believe that first THEN our true self unlocks "again".I always felt instinctively that my body was a kind of prison.Now how could that be? Because it is.We are physically LIMITED in what we can do in this world through our "body".
no one considers who we are able to be without self definitions - because no one investigates how they have come to be who they are - how and why they have come to define themselves. Thus, people only exist as a program of definitions and ideas of themselves - which must be preserved and maintained to feel as if you are 'alive'.
No one asks, because no one questions if this is all there is to life - and then has the courage to follow that question
