  • The Aldershot show was even better I recommend all Jam fans to catch them live if you can.

  • Saw them at Brighton last week Russell is great front man. It took me back to my teens cheers to all who were there great night. I`m goining to aldershot at the end of the month to see them..... top group. I recently saw sterophonics at the o2 crowd was dead no atmosphere I could of put a cd on and watched a dvd. COME ON THE JAM

  • @mafesto2007

If you don't like Russell or From The Jam.. fuck off!

Don't understand why people waste their time in slating videos they clearly don't like. I fucking hate Robbie Williams, which is why I'd never go on a video of him and slag him off on youtube. Get a fucking life.

  • @DANNYM35 . My sentiments exactly. Russell Hastings is an excellent singer and a far far down to earth lad than Weller was .

Its about us 40-odd year olds hanging on to our youth and meeting up with old mates to watch them and whats wrong with that?

Saw em 2 weeks ago with 2 lads I went to school with, had a few pints , a catch up and we'll do it again in December.

If people don't like it, fair enough but why waste time slagging it. Thought they'd be taliking to cyber-friends on facebook!

  • @walshy2866 Ditto could not put it better. see them every time they play Newcastle and its like and school get together . look forward to seeing them next december .........

  • @mafesto2007 Sorry mate, replied to the wrong person.

  • does matthew kelly or cat deely introduce them on stage?

  • Rick & Bruce you should never ever have allowed former fans to be in the band. It totally destroys the mystic and relegates the music to pub rock. Ditch Russell and Kevin, they are pub rockers pure and simple with zero charisma.Bring someone in who is a proven musician in his own right -How about Paul Weller?

  • If you liked the Jam, you liked the whole band and this is two thirds of it and as good as it gets when the lead singer is too precious to give his fans what they want. This sounds great!

  • agreeeeeeee completly!!!

  • god your funny, you slag off Weller writing some of his best music, since The Jam Stanley rd, 22 Dreams etc, & Foxton is playing Paul"s songs from 30yrs ago. lol Weller has grown & moved on. Foxton is still in 1982!

  • Kareoke Jam

  • From the Jam have a new CD 'Arse Crack'?

PIease teII me it's not reaI!!!

    Iove the band

  • i think this is great. Id love to see these guys. Although i dont fit the image of the typical jam fan so i might get trampled on or possibily beatenup. Great vocals and the nearest thing you can get to the Jam. Awesome

  • everyones happy Rick and bruce are doin what makes em happy and earnin a bit as well. Weller doin the same and tha fans get the best of both worlds

  • The bottom line is that this is great ROCK N' ROLL!

  • Nothing wrong with this, This might be the nearest some people might get to seeing a Jam gig, So weller isnt there to play - So what? They sound okay and good on them for doing it. I think Wellers fantastic, got all his albums and if he cant be arsed to have a gig with his old mates - thats his decision!

  • I was here tat night and many many more.. met weller shortly after this gig and he said this was cabaret.. there are few things I'd disagree with him on (maybe red wedge!) but this was great, me my big bro and bruce and rick fucking brilliant

  • This is sad. The Jam's legacy ruined. Bruce and Rick are great musicians and should do something new.

  • Saw them in the Point in Cardiff, it is just Kareoke (probably spellt wrong). Weller should put an injunction on these. They do a good job but it's not right, hated the gig and when you've seen The Jam live you realise it's not right.

  • I saw the jam 8 times, best band ever. you cant knock bruce and rick for trying to earn a living, wellers sorted for life. saw from the jam in leicester, it was a top night. kareoke my arse.

  • Fair point and your entitled to your opinion and your right that they got to make a living, but that doesn't change the fact that they are not the Jam without Weller money or not. I can't argue they are tight and do a good job, but so do numerous tribute bands, my opinion is it's not a patch, because the energy and passion came from a threesome and let's be honest about the essential ingredient is missing. All the best.

  • the fact is they are not the jam, they are called from the jam, take it for what it is. i was so chuffed just to see bruce and rick again, it made me feel 14 again. awsome gig. anyway my friend buy the delays albums, great band, need more support. all the best dave.

  • Saw them on Friday Night in Sydney, Australia. Absolutely AWESOME !!! The crowd went wild for the entire 90 minutes... I'm a Jam fan from the early 80's and I was expecting to be disappointed, let me say they blew our socks off ! Bruce Foxton was legendary on the bass, Rick was brilliant on the drums and Russell Hastings was nothing short of amazing ! Well done guys.... If ever I was going to pick a replacement for Weller, Hastings would be it.

  • saw them a little while ago they're great even without Weller :(

  • We saw the boys in Vancouver. Absolutley amazing show!!. The guys worked their arses off. Brilliant to see them back again.

  • I just saw them on 02-11-08 at the Birchmere in Alex, Va. They fuckin rocked. Russel Hastings is as good or better then Weller at these songs. I will never forget that show. Bruce was absolutely amazing along with Rick's drumming. Now all I need is some sta-prest trousers, a parka and vespa scooter and my life will be complete!

  • rx...i was at blender too....what great night,i was hoping to find clips of the night on here

  • Just saw them in NYC at Blender. They were absolutely awesome. You don't even miss Weller because the new lead singer sounds just like him and gives them youthful enthusiasm. Hugh Cornwell opened for them. You can't do better than that!!

  • Haha - I've just seen my mate Quiethouse on this vid. What a great night and to be honest I preferred it even more to the Corn Exchange in December 07 - although that was another top night - as was London, Tunbridge Wells, Oxford, Guildford, Reading, Southampton, Brighton.... Never been a bad FTJ gig!

Long Live The Jam! Long Live From The Jam!

  • going to see the boys in Sydney on March 14th. Cant fuckin wait!

  • catch from the jam , on tour now see their website today

  • going to see them on the 21st december at brighton where they finished in 82,

saw them together performing as "the gift" earlier this year,

    fantastic gig,

the good thing about this new line up is the prats who moan about weller not being there wont be there themselves,

hurrah we can enjoy the gig without arsholes present

  • Tuesday Night in Carling Academy Liverpool was awesome.People who say The Jam are not the same without Weller try telling that to the sellout crowd.Hastings was superb.

If you aint seen them yet,get some tickets and go you wont be dissapointed.

  • Can't wait for the boys to come to Chicago next year.

  • Roll on tuesday night in liverpool carling academy.Nov 27 THIS IS THE MODERN WORLD.

  • am going to see them tonight cant w8

  • Saw them last May..going to see them again on Saturday, and i am not really a Jam fan, great night out...Paul who?

  • What`s wrong with you people, it`s just fucking sad to see these to once great men pissing around with some cunt from "stars in thier eyes" It`s not for me thanks, makes ya feel dirty dont it. ps... didn`t pube go off to restore furniture,Wankers!!!!

  • it's TWO not To by the way.

  • speedpowder is a speedwanker who needs speed to get erect,

what another saddo that dont want to watch the band and begrudges other people seeing them,

glad your not going to be at any show the boys do,

    we won't miss you sunshine

  • @paulhulatt

    No it's not.

  • That aint a "fucking pub band" Thats Foxton and Buckler! You dozey prick

  • fucking pub band its just old men wanting there youth back sad as fuck

  • They do a respectable job and it's great to hear the old songs again. It's clear the UK audience knows all the words, probably to every song.

  • his solo on modern world is nowhere near wellers i'm afraid...

  • couldn;t make it to the gigs this time round so this is a real treat no bullshit no hype just maximum muscle music with or without weller this is still the jam at their best ive seen the jam on several of the tours in the 70;s and early 80;s and towards the end weller wasn;t at his brilliant best so russell can be proud of his performances with bruce and rick powering away they haven;t lost any of their magic

  • I saw the gig in Dublin and it was the best gig I've EVER been at. I had seen Weller before and really loved it and I've seen some great bands over the years, inc The Who, but I put The Who gig as a close 2nd. Russell does the songs they way they are meant to be done. And our very own Dave Moore adds keys and some solos that didn't always get a chance to be heard live. I'd love to see Weller gig with these guys again, but if he doesn't, s be it, I'll go see them as they are anytime!

  • Brilliant gig loved it going to see them again in November in Dublin ! Fuck weller great mucician great song writer but his head is up his hole at the best of times !

  • saw them at northampton soundhaus on 25th - 450 exceptionally happy fans - booked for kentish town dec.

tbh not sure weller could handle the songs as well as russel anymore........yeah im a heretic :)

  • saw them last night in cork place was rockin

  • Saw them on Fri 1/6 in Dublin.Absolutely brilliant, jumped around like a lunatic for the whole nite.Every song sounded as fresh as ever and every one a classic. Well worth the 25 year wait..

  • Saw them 30/5/07 in Belfast......bloody great show,great night...Paul who???????

  • Saw them at the Fez Club in Reading last Saturday night and they were superb. The Jam are back!

  • Saw the boys at The High Rocks in Tunbridge Wells on the 24th May. It what a great gig - even from outside. I watched with my kids from a window above the band's heads. My kids are under ten and love the Jam, but too young to go to a gig like this so we watched from there. Ended up having a quick conversation with Rick Buckler when they came out for a rest before the encore. What a great night!

  • Looking foward to seeing them in Belfast on wednesday....glad Wellers not with them...who needs him.

  • What a load of shit !! Who is that bloke trying to sound like Weller? And Bruce looks a muppett !

  • you need your kin head examined you really don;t have a clue who the fcuk are you to bad mouth class

  • nice vid. i put the bristol gig up here:

    youttube (.com)/myreels

    enjoy

  • keep your eyes open for a dvd this summer! shhhhhh ;-)

  • There should be two Ricks in the band - anyone know why Bruce has ditched his Rickenbacker for a Fender?? Saw them twice in the early eighties - alot of people been waiting for this reunion - sound as tight and energetic as ever! OK Paul was a genius - but at least there's a bit more room on stage without his ego!

  • Bruce preferred Fender basses. I don't think he recorded much with the Rick. The Rick looks much cooler, but the Fender is much "bass-ier" while the Rick has too much treble for Bruce's taste.

As for Paul, I love Paul the musician, but Paul the Human is a real jerk.

  • If anything, I think the fact Rickenbacker basses weigh as much as boat anchors was the reason Bruce made the switch. Damn fine basses though. I love mine! :)

  • Saw the boys at Aberdeen last Sunday and they were fantastic. This is not a tribute band - this is The Jam

  • That's exactly what I said !!!!!

  • Saw them in Edinburgh on Monday totally awesome. you could feel the energy surging right through the crowd

  • @ad841164 do they do much new material

  • Top bit of work there. Great gig that one !

  • Didn't we ave a nice time...!!

  • Excelent, go and see these lads if you get the chance
