its a solid game with some glitches like the turnovers and the limited amount of game content(not enough different dunks, no signature moves, etc.) but i think the player models are spectacular, and the upside progession system is great. for NBA 09, if i were in charge, i would add things (after the bug fixes) like: clutch rating, making certain players more likely to make shots in crucial times. also automatic roster updates, if you choose. hopefully NBA 09 will be even better than this one.

I wish that sony would realize that this game breaks with badness ever year. Hopefully they can give the TNT title to 2k sports , like that the game would look even more realistic if the TNT broadcast comes to NBA 2k Series, because after all. Mark ablert and Kenny smith are the real commentater for the game anyway.

The commentary is good but it lags a bit behind the actual game. I want to like NBA '08, but everything besides the shot meter is downright crap. If San Diego Studios improves the player models and graphics, speeds the commentary up a bit, and work on gameplay issues as well as making player models solid (balls can go through players-come on, that is SO last-gen), SCEA could have a potent competitor on their hands. But for now, it's just live and 2K.
