  • 6:26 - Love how her mouth has magically dissapeared.

  • Didn't that guy used to be the floorwalker in "Bargain Counter Attack"?

  • Why did Paramount have to sell all their Fleischer and Famous Studio cartoons to UM&M and NTA? They should've kept them like Warner Bros. and Disney did to their cartoons so they can remaster them and release them on DVD.

  • a big fat juicey lollipop. Woaw I never realised how pedo that guy sounded

    Cool. XD

Thanks for this, by the way. I miss the old Little Lulu cartoons I used to have.

  • As a caddy myself, I will testify that some days it really is that bad. XD

  • That golfer sounds a lot like Bluto from the Famous and KFS days.

  • Same voice guy---Jackson Beck.

  • that frog sounds fucked up

  • Kinda sounds like my brother after a few beers.

  • The color ain't half baed on this Lulu cartoon. Some of the others you can find on cheapie $1 DVDs look faded as hell

  • Actually, this color is VERY faded, but in a different way. I've been amazed recently when I've seen restored versions of cartoons that I'd known for years on VHS that I'd THOUGHT were in good shape. They look so different you can't believe it. So I've sort of learned to recognize things. This print is very darkened, f'rinstance. The real thing is probably way brighter.

  • If you want to see the orginal titles of a little lulu cartoon, rent the VHS tape from Republic Pictures. It's called "Cartoonies Featuring Little Lulu". Fast forward to "I'm Just Curious" and see for yourself.

  • I've seen a few. There's another tape (can't remember the name) that has a grab bag of UM&M and Paramounts. I'd like to know if there are any Lulus whose original titles are lost for good, like Betty Boop. I read that no surviving Paramount-titled prints of any Betty Boops exist, period. Oh, well.

  • I've seen a few. There's a long tape (can't remember the name) that has a grab bag of UM&Ms and Paramounts.

I wonder if there any Lulus whose Paramount titles are completely lost, like Betty Boop's are. (I read that no surviving Paramount-titled Betty Boop films exist.)

  • Dang. Didn't mean to say that twice. Thought my first one didn't go through.

  • Yes there are a few Betty Boops with the orginal titles. The most common and easily found is Musical Mountaineers. And I also had a half-hour tape with a rare print of the Noveltoon Old MacDonald Had A Farm sing-along, plus i think "The Emerald Isle". But Jerry Beck thinks it isn't rare, because it was mass produced by a popular PD video company called UAV Corporation. But the tape I have now had more NTA prints rather than half-and-half, plus no Paramount majestic mountain on Old Macdonald.

  • But Old Macdonald did have the orginal titles, just no mountain. At the beginning you would hear the complete logo introduction music but it had no mountain, plus in the end a cheap THE END.

  • Are Noveltoons with the Paramount seal considered rare? If so I didn't know that. A PD tape I've had for ages happens to have three on it, so I've just assumed they're easy to find.

When I said "original titles" about Betty Boop, I was too vague. I really meant that I read no Bettys survive that have the Paramount mountain intact. Does Musical Mountaineers have it?

  • If you mean the Jack in The Box opeining with Paramount's generic version of the Harvey icon, then yes you're correct, and ONE noveltoon with the orginal titles is most easily found. That is Buzzy in "The Stupidstiuos Cat". It has been technicolor bright. The only betty boop i know of is

  • Pudgy and the Lost Kitten. Sorry I didn't finish.
