oohhh what a sweetie! I have a red rumped female (with a little of someting else in her-she has some blue on her wings) she is mostly very independent, but I can give her neck rubs & I get kisses on the nose :-) Love the way she makes happy little thankyou noises when I bring her fresh grass seed heads.

my bird Layna is a female red rumped parakeet too!!! she acts just like this!!!! i have to leave her to go camping this week. :( im sad cuz she loves me soooo much and i love her too, and im worried. its her first time without me and shes only 7 months!

oh poor baby girl....i totally understand that...my mimi lives in london i had her when i was studying there however i had to come back to japan for a few months every year and last year i finished my studying and came back permanently...as you can imagine how sad i was...my ex is keeping her in london and apparently he loves her too so i am relieved...
