Star Trek from this very era is more important than what the American pop culture have understood it is. Gene Roddenberry's concept tells about a Communist utopia where virtually all economic, subsistence, race, social class, property limits to individual liberty have been abolished. I admire that and I don't accept any later versions or interpretations where there are human faults and cynical outlooks.
