I tried using bikes before, including the ones you mentioned; but they're just not for me. The Wild Wing fits my drift style perfectly.

Let me tell you that after some practice they should be easy. I use the Wiimote and the Nunchuk for my racing. I used to think those bikes had a super sharp drift also!

I found that, for example, if the road is curving right, start the slide but don't push the control stick in the right direction initially. Go a little to the left and find a comfortable spot where you can drift safely. Just practice a couple of time so you can get the "drift." :D

The thing is, I use the Wii wheel, ALL the time. I recently tried using a heavy inward drifting bike. It was okay, just the only thing was that after the drift it didn't turn as quickly as it should.

I would recommend using the Flame Runner. That's the best one, in my opinion. [Although not the fastest]. I use the Wii Wheel sometimes when I want to vary things and is almost the same as driving with the Wiimote and Nunchuk.

But I agree some of the faster bikes have good drift but bad turning. Just experiment with the bikes and try different characters with different stats. I like using Rosalina or Funky Kong with the Flame Runner.
