The best speakers (unlike corporate speakers) have excellent deep bass, open transparent midrange and sweet and extended and clear high frequencies and an overall coherence from to to bottom. Quad electrostatics, Wilson Alexandrias' and MBl 101's reproduce music more truthfully than any I have heard. What comes out of hifi speakers sounds much better to me than anything I've heard from corporate speakers any day.
