wow, i grade 3&4 to 1 slopes every day with a high track d7r standard track width with a waste handling package (+12000lbs) on it. its nuthin to have 1 track off the ground... great work chris!!
im not sure you no what your doing! your cuttin the slope when u got all types of dirt in the pond. rule of thumb always cut the pond to grade before cuttin the edge.push that dirt on the slope so u know where the toe is. your gonna end up going over that slope anyway.get everything to grade then work the slopes
@cherryjerry420420 when grading slopes the material has tendency to roll down the slope, imagine that, so you slope first, gather everything at the bottom and a track machine can clear overburden. why would you get the bottom perfect to have the material your pushings end up down there again anyway
@69rd96 dunno bout komatsu, but cat dozers have a 45 degree tipover angle, meaning you can ly it over to work on a 1:1 slope, i know this cause i've done it with a standard track d6r elevated sprocket. bit harder to keep it up there but if you start at the top and work material down hill it stops dozer from lossing traction and sliding down the slope
run a pan on bigger slope than this
