  • run a pan on bigger slope than this

  • What is this pond dam going to be used for - fish?

  • looks like fun

  • its more or less imposible to tip over a dozer as long as the blade is on the floor

  • Hi letsdig,

That is a sweet dozer you have, what is it a kommy equal to a D6 or so?

    Take care.

  • you poison ass. worst operating in the world

  • @draginwagon666 why?

  • i dont think ive ever run a komatsu dozer just cat and john deere

  • @rangerman2237 there becoming more popular now

  • wow, i grade 3&4 to 1 slopes every day with a high track d7r standard track width with a waste handling package (+12000lbs) on it. its nuthin to have 1 track off the ground... great work chris!!

  • ok, this is not to make chris look bad, i love his work. its in response to rtessmer below

  • There.. what kind of camera was used to film this video...? Thank you!

  • haha nice i love working on slopes like that

  • great video just needed some musice

  • Nice one!

  • im not sure you no what your doing! your cuttin the slope when u got all types of dirt in the pond. rule of thumb always cut the pond to grade before cuttin the edge.push that dirt on the slope so u know where the toe is. your gonna end up going over that slope anyway.get everything to grade then work the slopes

  • I can assure you he knows what he's doing.....show us some of your pond digging projects, all I see are trenches

  • Rule of thumb... do as your boss tells you to do even if you think its wrong.

  • @cherryjerry420420 when grading slopes the material has tendency to roll down the slope, imagine that, so you slope first, gather everything at the bottom and a track machine can clear overburden. why would you get the bottom perfect to have the material your pushings end up down there again anyway

  • nascar with a dozer lol

  • hahhaha

  • That dozers pretty quite. What make and model? Looks like a komatsu to me..?

  • komatsu d39

  • Ahh ya. Guess I didnt notice at the vids start.

  • Imagine doing that with a high drive Cat??

    TIMBER!!!!!!

  • not nesasrly but quite possable

  • What are you talking about?? I grade 2 on 1 slopes all the time with a D-6 N. I will shoot a video nex week at work and put it up.

  • Send it to me, I got to see that, narrow track or wide?

  • @69rd96 dunno bout komatsu, but cat dozers have a 45 degree tipover angle, meaning you can ly it over to work on a 1:1 slope, i know this cause i've done it with a standard track d6r elevated sprocket. bit harder to keep it up there but if you start at the top and work material down hill it stops dozer from lossing traction and sliding down the slope

  • Great video. . . The new camera looks good
