  • It is WOLFGANG GÖNNENWEIN

  • If this is Claudio Abbado you need to get your eyes checked!:)

  • EL ANCHO MUNDO...

  • Another mouth that just pours out solid gold whenever it sings.... She is truly magnificent in whatever she takes on.

  • That is NOT Andre Previn conducting

  • @ilwfrjp is Claudio Abbado

  • Margaret Price sings fantastically, but Gönnenwein really holds back the impetus of the song by concucting so much in quarter notes - it's written in half-notes. By the way, is the oboist really playing an oboe d'amore as stipulated in the score?

  • Who's conducting here?

  • Andre Previn

  • Bravo!!!!!

  • Fourth of the Rueckert Songs the Title means, I believe...

In case anyone wonders who the conductor might be: Wolfi Goennenwein.

  • Wonderful!

Beautifully sung, with a tremendous connection to the text. A real treat

to see and hear one of my favourite

    sopranos of all time!

I love the way her voice rings out

when the music reaches that awesome

climax towards the end of the song!

Brava Margaret and as always, thanks

    for posting!

  • this is not Mahler 4, but the subtitle is correct...the title fooled me.

  • she's wonderful
