  • One of the very few songs that makes me blub like a baby. Its like shivers of truth and the truth that once was, running down my spine.

  • the question will always be asked but never answered top tune

  • What a beautiful song, the words bring tears to my eyes. Most of us are looking for someone to change our lives, and of course a miracle.....how many of us do these thigs happen to.....a million memories flooding back of the mess I made....

  • Graeme Edge to journalists in1973 "There s no point in trying to make Justin Hayward leap about on stage because Pete Townshend can do it better all the time. When Justin gets worked up, he taps his foot." That s cute. That s the Justin and the Moody Blues we have admired, respected and loved over the last 45 years. A class act.

  • and cut?

  • i'm sorry for your loss and I pray that you will have a dream about your loved one and it will give you peace also...i just dreamnt about my mom over a month since I lost her,i said how are you, then realized she was not sitting on my couch,it was her jacket, and I felt sad and then there she was on the big screen tv at the beach with waves crashin on her back, laughing and smiling, flinging her arms up and down! i was rested and happy all day...

  • it sounds to me like justin is singing from the soul...a past life love..lov found...love lost...about ireland and england...

  • Raine, I feel for you. My baby daughter was stillborn and then her father ran off with a girl half his age. Life can be so cruel, can't it? Hope your heart is mending.

" Now that Im divorced Im looking for a miracle in my life and if you could see what life has done to me, You would see me woundering thoug time between the mountains and the seas every week. Im lookimg for a mirralcle in my life, to loose the sorrow and loneliness I have. Now Im still lookimng for someone to change my life.

  • Wait a couple of years, boys; You'll hit the gold mine with "Nights In White Satin", This isn't bad, But not great either. Just saying.

  • 2.22 great vocal exercise here!

  • This is my very most favorite version of this song.. I love that little trill of his voice, that up and down the scale, He doesn't do that with most of the other live versions. This is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

  • very good song.

  • Hot Damn!! This song just rocks!! Such a powerful and very moving song so full of real emotion and feeling ! A song full of truth!! And Justin just looks so amazing here, so gorgeous!! He just melts my heart!! And his voice just peirces my heart, so beautiful!! The Moodies are truly a phenomenal band of all time!! Their music has touched so many souls through the years and continue to touch souls to this day. Their music is pure magic to the soul!! Pure brilliance!! The Moodies forever!! ♥

  • Look for - Moody Blues - Question (Full Version) - No clipped ending.

  • Reminds me of my college days

  • This could well be the greatest Rock n' Roll song ever!

  • @ashbyhmason Naa! "stairway to heaven"

  • Why do we never get an answer when we're knockin' at the door?

  • wau!! what a sound!!... so freaking awsome!!

  • Award winning melody.

  • best version of Question i've ever heard

  • Sweet Amy, Becky, Avery need us. They are waiting for Me. I will go.

  • Unbelievable delirium, is what I feel about this fantastic song. I saw them do it live in March 1972 Syracuse War Memorial, with my friend Steve Moosebrugger, guitarist extraordinaire. We all grew from this great music. It helped me get a keen perspective on life, and keep it. Moody Blues forever.

  • ....Legends...... From The Beginning......

  • the moody blues are one of the most underrated bands. This is pure talent and soulfully beautiful something about this music just makes me more spiritual

  • best version ever. prog rock at the bbc ftw

  • Angelus Temple of Doom, burning in it's greed.

  • Beautiful.

  • Absolute favorite version.

  • Raine, Sometimes we can't control God's plan. But we can always pray and believe that God is there along with all those that watch over you. Pray for strength to get through each day. Maybe there are some things God still wants you to do. God allows bad things for good things to happen. I really do care.

  • Discovering this song was like finding the true meaning of life it's fantastic.

  • beautiful memories. thanx for posting.

  • BEAUTIFUL

  • Beautiful <3

  • I saw this performance on BBC4 last night and the sound and vision was perfect. Beautiful song, I love that slightly yodelling quality to Justin's voice.

  • i waited for that miracle for a cure for my husbands cancer, he died two months ago i had the faith i don't know why and now there is nothing left to believe in raine

  • raine, I am sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the pain. Death is not the end, however, and at times, in a certain sense, it may represent the final and ultimate healing - the miracle we have prayed for. Life is short. Eternity is long. Hang onto your faith. The story isn't over yet. It goes on.. and on... and on.

  • @HyaPowa soo sorry to hear of your loss.My dad died of liver cancer at 57,but we had to watch him lose his mind, which was soul destroying, but we were told it was the least painful cancer to have.....MISS him badly...13th Aug 1999

  • well stated...much love to you and all in your life..

given the vastness of the cosmos...certainly we are but a mere

budding of a rose..and as we sit down to eat ..something was sacrificed for our nourishment..

but to be truly fulfilled..we must look beyond the dinner plate

and feed our everlasting soul hunger ....

our main goal in this life is to help others and share

    all things we may have

    for the next generation....:)

  • "Nothing can change such a great heartbreak; surely that heartbreak, is changing you?" This song echo's such a sentiment, "between the dead and the living and the road that I must choose." We the living, if only for our brief moment here, bring life with our choices, to those we share our love with. "LOVE" is the miracle, in the screwed-up mess! Seems you were "fortunate" to have shared "LOVE" with somone as special as your husband must have been to you. May GOD bless you Raine528, Peace!

  • Raine, I know words are completely inadequate but please know that everyone that reads your message is very sorry for your loss.

  • @raine528 Oh Raine. I am so sorry for you loss. That has got to be so hard. I just wanted to say that if it helps any, I truly believe that families can be together forever. That the relationships we have here continue throughout eternity. I know that doesn't really help in the now, but to me it brings a kind of comfort that this isn't the end and I'll have that love again.

  • @raine528 Keep your faith, dear Raine... God listens to us, loves us immensely, and will answer our prayers in His time.

  • @raine528 Easy tiger - keep the chin up ! Lifes full of ups and downs - theyll be a few more ups to come - youll be able to fill him in about - and bore him to tears no doubt X ;-)

  • @raine528 Raine, I know exactly how you feel. I lost my brother to cancer on 2/27/10, just 10 days after being diagnosed. He absolutely loved the Moody's, and had everything they had every done on tape, including the solo stuff. HyaPowa is right. I knew there was no hope for my brother's recovery. So, I prayed for God to take him quickly so his suffering would be lessened. I miss him terribly and at times, wish I could join him.

  • @raine528 I am sorry for your loss. We all die. Try and live like he would have wanted you to live. That way he will still live inside of you everday.

  • @raine528 i know what you mean it hurts for ever life is never the same

  • @raine528

    Sorry for your loss.

A friend of mine died in his 40's. Run by Snow Patrol was playing on the radio on the day that I found out. I'm not religious but it struck a chord with me. Hope it helps.

My mother has lived without my father for 34 years. She was and still is very religious and I still don't know why. BUT I still think he's watching me.

  • @raine528 Believe in yourself.

  • @raine528 Wow, whomever raine is, I was thinking about songs I would play at my funeral. I found this; it is perfect. My condolences, although it is a year too late, if you played this song anywhere near the death of your husband his life was well served. This song has true spirituality in it.

  • @raine528 Sorry to hear about your loss. Some times people have to pass away and theirs nothing that can be done to prevent it. This makes us feel that we have no control. I would like to believe there is a purpose and reason for events like this but we have to questions them, even if we don't always get an answer, or the answer we want. Have you tried to go to a spiritualist church, the usually hold meetings every week.

  • @raine528 Also a spiritualist friend told me that if you have a photo of a loved one who has passed over, instead of leaving gifts like flowers at the grave site, you use a photo and place the items with the picture. Maybe a little table/alter for remember them.

I don't know if you believe in this and I hope your not affended by my comments. You will be together again, I believe this to be true :)

  • @raine528 Oh honey I am with you in spirit I lost my husband to cancer also, on Jan 27 2009 ... You are in pain but never give up please keep moving forward> It, Cancer, is the most wicked disease I lost my Mom and my husband in the last 5 years and we should keep in touch

  • Very poignant and beautiful. I think this song is an appeal to the leadership of the country, if not the world leaders to examine their hearts and their priorities. He goes on to say that he faces a choice of what he wants his life to be. He sees the people who are spiritually asleep (mostly the populace) and or dead (mostly the leadership) and longs for a world where he can be fully alive. IMHO

And as far as it being 2 songs in 1, that's the way art develops sometime. Its like synergy.

  • Mad strumming there.. when will I be able to do that??

  • @Lenniett29 practice your ass off

  • basically, this song is like "A day in the life" by the beatkes. Justin wrote two songs and later decided to join them.

  • This song was a miracle in my life...

  • I loved the 70s and I love this.

  • SUPER!!!!!!!!

  • This song is a combination of two songs JH was working on. He had an anti war protest song and a love song partially completed but didn't know what to do with these incomplete pieces. They were written in the same key so he decided to put them together and make one song...a great one at that.

  • Between the silence of the mountains, And the crashing of the sea, There lies a land I once lived in, And she's waiting there for me, But in the grey of the morning, My mind becomes confused, Between the dead and the sleeping, And the road that I must choose. I'm looking for someone to change my life, I'm looking for a miracle in my life And if you could see what it's done to me, To lose the love I knew, Could safely lead me through The land that I once knew,
  • I can never get enough of this song; first heard it in 1970 tripping with some friends on the streets of San Diego, and I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

Very nice slightly different vocal version by Justin here.

  • lmao it hit me like a ton of bricks. cant wait, got floor seats !!!!!! they are comming and I cant wait!!!!!! I love them and hope they sing the story in your eyes and the one they did with elo Gemini dream is the best!!!

  • Yes..like A Day In The Life...Beatles...another classic example of 2 songs put together.

  • @rblwoaclu Why do you idiots always feel the need to write out the lyrics? we can hear already!

  • Just wonderful, thank you!:))
