Start brushing teeth with paste add Peroxide and Listerine swish and brush apply pressure to the ache area... You will feel pain but will taste a salty flavor most likely the infection.... I did it for about 15-20 mins the longer the better I found out. Also take Ibrophen or a anti-inflammatory medicine. I should have done this on my vaycay...

Simple remedy get 4-6 cloves and put them in your mouth to soften them up for 10 minutes. Keep cloves in your mouth but spit the saliva that has built up into the sink. I know how to get rid of pain: you will need a tooth paste that fights cavities, advil or a pain killer and mouth wash
1. When your tooth hurts, take an advil.
2. brush your teeth very well with the tooth paste.
3. take a mouth wash that kills plaque and other germs for 12hours.
4. Take a shower, When your body responds to pain, it wants to relax to something thats soothing.(use warm water)
If these tips dont help you, go to oral doctor because you might have a serious cavity.

I got a horrible toothache, but fortunately I'm going to the dentist to get it checked. I think it's from a cavity underneath the filling. I usually hate going to the dentist for fillings and other work, but tomorrow for me will be the end of a week of intense pain.

i visit my dentist and said that rock salt will worsen your tooth ache..My dentist said that take a anti-bacterial pill. I take a Amoxicillin .. ^^

u want a good, effective method for curin a toothache...a bowl of honey nut loops! i had a hurrendous toothache 1 night...was the tooth in the bottom left of my mouth ( the molars i think they are called) i got a bowl of honey nut loops and chewed on the achin tooth and guess what...it worked!!
keep chewin on it unti u feel a real sharp shootin pain (its a good thing) n wen u feel that, suck on ur tooth, as if ur tryin to suck it out of the root n out of ur mouth the pull mkes the pain go

i had bad pain today and tried holding a mouthfull of jack daniels in my mouth for a minute it worked just do the same as you would with mouthwash but swallow it be carefull if you had tablets they dont mix well with alchol

This video was obviously not made in the UK as ive spent all day trying to see a dentist and the only appt they could offer me was October, 2 month away!!!!! so much for seeing a dentist asap. not possible, ive resorted to washing my mouth out with whiskey and also sipping cold water, it takes the edge off a bit until i can get to the dental hospital in the morning, i think i'd pull it out myself if i had to wait till october, what a joke!!!

@mcaps123 Yeah,tooth pain is the most intense,the worst-I have a chipped out piece,like a "V" but upside down,on my back molar-and because I have basically avoided it until I couldn't stand it anymore,I finally seen a dentist and he prescribed antibiotics because its to infected to pull...and I have been on them for 4 days now,and the tooth is still throbbing and sore!!!!still!!thankfully I have pain killers to help me out till I can pull it.but its something I wouldent wish on my worst enemy!

@mcaps123 I know what you mean, i've been waiting to go into hospital to have all my teeth out since january because i have acide reflex disease and it has root alot of my teeth and causing big absues and major pain, But it's only next monday that i get my first appointment down the hospital I could be waiting another six months..

lol in some cases an ice cube can actually aggrivate the toochache? Well yea of course but in all cases it does. Simple remedy get 4-6 cloves and put them in your mouth to soften them up for 10 minutes. Keep cloves in your mouth but spit the saliva that has built up into the sink. Then gently chew the soft cloves with your sore teeth. Instant relief.

I'm a paramedic, and I've never heard of not being allowed to rinse with salt water when you're pregnant.
If you're going to spit the salt water out anyway, then you're only going to be ingesting a tiny amount of salt.
I'll have to look up the reason for not using salt water when pregnant..

i needa hug i have toothache now i went to dentist and she said it was a nerve in my tooth dieing causing the pain so she just put antiseptic in it and filed it and said i will need root filling , now im home teh knub has wore and im WORSE! THAN BEFORE omg lol but cold water is my weapon it stops the pain instantley! so every min im having to refresh new cold water in my mouth ahahah im turning into a frog o well my heart goes out to anyone with toothace its a pain that makes you not yourself x
