YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

I was tired of all the sad, gross, or otherwise terrible YouTube videos that kept coming up, so I searched for "Something Happy", and your video was the first that popped up. I must say, I'm very impressed! You have the voice of an angel. With professional recording/production, you could most definitely be a professional musician. I would buy your album! Are you planning on furthering your musical career? Also, could you please post the lyrics to this song? I'd love to read them. Thanks!

I like it. But like people already wrote, you need a better mic, because I really enjoyed your voice but it was drowned out a bit by the piano. You could do some jazzy stuff with very little music other than your voice I think, would sound great.

I think your mic need to be either closer to your mouth, or you need to do this in a smaller room. :\ Hard to hear the soft parts, and the loud parts kinda resonate. For a solo project, this is pretty good. I like the inclusion of animals. :) Kitty likes to be pet. The reason a lot of people suspend when they are playing as they sing, is because the piano/keyboard tends to drown out your voice when it's soft, especially if you're playing forte.

While I think that she is decent at singing, I am sure she gets that a lot, and it really doesn't help her improve. Since she already acknowledged and appreciated her own efforts and results, I do not think she'll need anyone else's approval. If you read the comments just below us, you can tell she is not lacking in generic comments. I just responded with a response that I hope will help her more in the future. But again, I do think this is pretty good for a solo project.

I really do appreciate the comments TiptheJester! all you said was true. I was actually shopping for a better mic today. I'm glad you brought up the resonation. It's a good thing to consider as a musician. I'll improve ;)

"The reason a lot of people suspend when they are playing as they sing" <-- I meant suspending the mic. You can either run the cord along the ceiling, or tape a string to hang overhead. This way you can have it adjusted to your head level, without absorbing the vibration from the piano, and being too close to the piano. Your dad's expression is awesome, just so you know. There is a polite awkwardness that just lingers in the air.
