Avatar Soundtrack - The Bioluminescence Of The Night

Listening to this, is anyone struck by the similarities it has to James Horner's other great soundtrack, Titanic? Not the piece as a whole, but certain musical signatures that I hear in each of his works. That doesn't make either soundtrack any less great, of course.

In the meantime, he worked on the script and other projects like Titanic. Some might say that the script is too shallow for him to have worked on it for nine years. I say FUCK YOU, the story was just as great as the visuals!

this movie's concept mirrors that of pocahontas. Indigenous people from an unkown world. Jake (John smith) befriends Neytiri (pocahontas) and fall in love. The contractors want to dig up Pandora for the valuable minerals (settlers for gold). they then have a battle to the death. Also, the Indigenous people lived very similarly to indians. Very familiar to the animated disney film. BUT. I will say i enjoyed the movie. ALSO this song :D

This movie really was a great movie. I look at its entertainment value and that fact that this world that they have created, is beautiful, a place that you could only dream about. I don't look at the fact that yes it is essentially Dances with Wolves meets Ferngully, but the fact that i was mesmerized by Pandora. Now why cant everyone else treat a movie like this? we would be a measure happier. :/
