All this video showed me is different traditions (like the sun and the moon on either side of the crucifix) utilized in many different styles and eras of paintings. Who is to say were these traditions came from? Beginning of the video said it's analyzing only the last few hundred years. If you view all the paintings (cave drawings too) going back 6k+ years, you'll see tremendous similarity which seems to stem from sumerians. It is easy to see the hands of the authors in the textual style. The older of the two main texts probably predates the sumerian flood myths and includes caananite influences as well.

While it is an undeniable fact that "angels" were in the skies, as a real objects and they weren't imaginary figments, people could easily misinterpret them as angels, because in ancient times light in the sky meant holiness or even god. In 6:11 you can clearly see that a painter shows various color lights bursting out of an "angel". I understand the concern of people who try to explain them, but if angels as a real objects were flying in ancient times, why cant we see them today?

You make some good points, however it is all down to the observers interpretation. The angels themselves could be seen as E.T.'s in flying craft, equally they could be religious interpretation. I think we can safely agree that Angels appear in the paintings by your own description. Are angels humans? No. They are angels, seraphim and cherubim and the heavenly host etc.... Who is to say were these traditions came from? Beginning of the video said it's analyzing only the last few hundred years. If you view all the paintings (cave drawings too) going back 6k+ years, you'll see tremendous similarity which seems to stem from sumerians. @Huttate1 It's not only the Bible that talks about clearly depicted outer-worldly activities. The Koran, the Bhagwad Geeta (Hinduism), and the 17 books removed one of the original ancient Bible versions itself (very straight forward in detail BTW...like the book of Enoch, which is only mentioned one time in the current New Testament) among others. Because we are not used to hearing stuff doesn't mean it's not true, or wasn't known before!

@lindamist Yeah, I realized by half why that the speaker is simply putting his own opinion without much explaining. He also hand picked the ones that could be easily dismissed as the "moon and the sun"...he still didn't explain why would there be someone inside the moon looking like controlling something in it. There are plenty more drawings that clearly show detailed saucers and speacecrafts...why didn't he try to debunk those...?

While it is an undeniable fact that "angels" were in the skies, as a real objects and they weren't imaginary figments, people could easily misinterpret them as angels, because in ancient times light in the sky meant holiness or even god. In 6:11 you can clearly see that a painter shows various color lights bursting out of an "angel". I understand the concern of people who try to explain them, but if angels as a real objects were flying in ancient times, why cant we see them today?

That's the whole point "angels coming out of the clouds", that was there way to explain it. That's all they could come up with because they never seen aliens before. You just proved it at 06:35. If i was to go in the jungle and walk about with a cell phone and a flashlight in my hand, some natives that never seen a white man would think I was a god.

Also with all those paintings that have the light at the top in center (which they thought as god) could have just been frequent UFO visits. I mean c'mon if you were to find a planet with intellegent life, wouldnt you constantly visit untill you find another one? I know i would. And i bet technology was not understood like it is now, so to them it was all magic. Or in this case "GOD"

If you look at it this way, these angels could simply have been aliens hovering with some type of jetpack. And since back in the day people believed that to fly one must have wings. Then instead of just drawing a hovering person they added the wings. And all of these paintings dont seem to be too far from each other (time-wise) maybe they depict the same or close to same scenery.

You make some good points, however it is all down to the observers interpretation. The angels themselves could be seen as E.T.'s in flying craft, equally they could be religious interpretation. It is extremely difficult to know what is being depicted, it all comes down to belief. However we live in a universe where anything is possible, so all things must be considered, and we must always remain open minded to all possibilities. Undoubtedly what we know as true today, will change tomorrow

It is in my opinion that its actually the other way around and that angels have been mistaken by modern day ufos and extraterristial beings flying in the sky. To the primitive human they see it as being divine figure. Also you have left much more ufo art gone unoticed. Cave drawings and carving made from stone that without a doubt show what looks like modern day extraterristials it be nice to see if you can try to debunk if you can and apply them to your believes if any.

Very good arguing points however, the ufos being confused with angels is where i don't buy it. Im a man of rationailty i liked the first theory of the moon and the sun. But the second one is just a biased opinion. To automatically think the shining lights in the sky that clearly look like modern ufos, look like angels is just nonsense. God and angels are NOT a fact but an opinion of whether people want to believe in them or not thats why its called a religion.

well, this leads to ANOTHER question...y is the sun n moon depicted with human features? I think that's kinda weird and lends itself to the aspect of the astrological aspects in religion. Although, there is MUCH to look at with regard to astrology in the Bible. Showing that there are similar paintings doesn't really disprove the UFO theory but could, in fact, further prove it.

In The book of Revelation it talked about a city in space, but it just means they believed in space travel it didn't necesarily mean it actually happened. Plenty of things in ancient sun worship such as resurrection of sun god long before christians had resurrection of jesus.

I think we can safely agree that Angels appear in the paintings by your own description. Are angels humans? No. They are angels, seraphim and cherubim and the heavenly host etc.... We can safely say that they are also not of the earth, hence they are alien to earth. If not from earth they, being creations of God, are extraterrestrial to earth. I do not think we have to suspend our belief in God because we hold other beings of God's creation as alien or ET.
