Headphones that emphasize muddy, overpowering bass with nonexistent mids and highs and is about as clear as a cup full of mud? No thanks. What's next, touting MP3s as a "high fidelity audio source"?

There are so many better options out there for headphones, even at $50 (almost 1/4 the price of Beats). Anyone who thinks Beats are great headphones does not know audio equipment whatsoever.

"Don't believe the hype" like "beats by dre" there are better solutions out there for lower price. I heared the headphone of dre. I like it, nice sound but the bas is to heavy. People need stable clean monitor sound to produce. Not just Tweaked equalizers

I actually have an HP envy with the beats-branded audio-output. I have to say that when the beats part is switched on, the music-quality does increase noticibly. Especially when I use my AKG headphones. On my Logitech speakers it produces to much base though...

Everybody who got more then 2 braincells knows that this is marketing story. If your not happy with your onboard soundcard buy on something like an audio 2 dj.

The chance that this soundcard of that laptop will be better then the audii 2 dj it will be very small

This is a dumb commercial. It's going to be made by the same people who are making these "other" laptops. I guarantee to you that there will be nothing added but maybe a decent sound hardware card/chip and gold plated jacks (if it even gets that far). There is nothing wrong with audio components on laptops. This guy just is trying to build a brand without really knowing how to apply it so he's using his music background. Dre and Iovine are really bad and dumb for trying this without doing the hw

i agree........i got me a laptop that i paid 600 dollars for....and im happy with. why would i pay 2800 for this one. . .ferari got there laptops out. even they aint the biggest selling laptops.

The "Beats" computer is supposed to come preloaded with native instruments mixxing software ($500) and an upgraded audio card. A computer that is built to run NI out of the box is about $2000 in the first place plus the software = $2500 plus the sound card at $500 = $3000. a 3k computer for $2200 is a good deal, but if the rumors are wrong and it is all branding............... it's over priced junk.
