Back in the eighties, at the time when the seven seas album came, he was using the black and white-stratocaster with a humbucker Dimarzio, and a singelcoil-shaped pickup from german Rockinger. As far as I know, thats what he still uses during recording sessions...
80's tremolo was Rockinger, stock on some Kramers of the time. Neck pup was Italian-made Magnetics (not sure of the bridge pup). Currently, the bridge pup is Seymour Duncan Custom, while neck is EMG SA-1. Both Magnetics and EMG are active pups. Long OOP, Magnetics is back up and running, so check out website. Rockinger also has a site online.
I'll check and get back to you with the answer. I'll post it in the video description. For now, I'll hazard a guess and say circa '97/98 off the top of my head.
