Right, it's a very long story that has not been finished yet, so I will keep it brief.

In regarding to this, blueheat127's alteration of this, his "test of a new soundset" was proven to be merely this video with the OST of the actual song played over top by most notably Levus28. Blueheat127 admitted to it being a sham and soon deleted it.

Now blueheat127's account has been suspended due to unknown reasons. However, heat was accused of stealing balloon303's song in a very complex way.

Probably, Balloon asked Heat to record his song.

Obviously, you have to give the recorder all of the .txt files for the recorder to record the video.

Apparently, Heat had other intentions other than sending Balloon the video.

I don't think he sent the .txt for forest maze. Maybe he put it on Mediafire and Heat got access to it...there was a topic about it on the MPC forums, but that got deleted. I think Balloon INITIALLY asked Heat to record Sekhmet, but switched over to (i think) FriedFischer or delaythepickup. Balloon sent the whole prefs folder to heat before switching. Not only was Sekhmet there, but also Forest Maze. Heat probably stole forest maze since sekhmet was about done recording.

For one, he composes by ear while I use a midi, so that is bound to result in some differences.

For the most part, it is just the different instrument combinations and placement that sets us apart. Example: he may have 'slid' (placing the same note after each other) the gameboys to create the a stronger sounding guitar.

Another thing is that he pays more attention to the volume while I just set it and forget it.

You'd really have to ask what he would have done different in this piece to know.

How the heck are you able to work at such a high tempo?

All it is is just more space in between the notes. Then it's just a matter of memorizing (16th note=4 spaces), and after a while you just get used to it. Takes a long time though ;)

I actually tried to do a piece at regualar tempo recently, and I had no idea where to put anything. lol
