well actually 1 gig isn't that great. you need 2gigs just to run vista premium with aeros I've got 3 gigs and I often find my computer needs more ram. Multiple monitor systems running tons of graphic rich high definition interactive content tend to suck up the ram. I've been eyebaling an alienware PC with 9 gigs of DDR3 a gig of graphic memory 4 TBs of hard drive and the newest core i7. If that's the contemporary then 128 gigs in the next ten years seems likely
