  • Awesome music

  • death ftw

  • dude u look like a vampire lol

  • You know, the strange thing is, I do no hacking, I have no training in computer programming and I understood what you were saying at the start. It also proves I have good eyesight. ;)

But I seem to know more about computer programming than the people who took courses in computing. The closest I have ever got to hacking is cartridge tilting and finding glitches in games, so no knowledge from there either... I don't know where I get this knowledge from. o_O

  • game shark sucks !

  • its modded use the orginial 64 version

  • Did I see..... Giygas in the Painting at the beginning.......

  • lol some of these stars wernt included thanks to the small capacity in nthe n64 catridge and like u sed some were from being too slow lmao

  • dude I think your n64 is borken.

  • its a mod

  • Hes not using a nintendo 64

  • ur retarded gay wad its on his computer go suck ur moms penis

  • awesome

  • Never heard of him.

  • MAH BOI

  • Ignore that Darkomegasonic Dude , Hes just sad He can't Mod as good as You.

    Nice work :D

  • He changed them u know ?

  • why the hell duss it take so fucking long to loed

  • it looks like a demons castle

  • I was thinking. could you put them like the 8 coin stars in the boswer levels where it goes "wow you got another star would you like to save" or somin like that

  • what the f*ck is up with that odd spinning star?

  • I'm not sure. It never appeared in the game and doesn't count as a real star.

  • do you have any theories on what that wierd star is??

  • Probably just a graphics demo.

  • @iamsomerandomdude

i do i download super mario 64 to my cpu befor i zoomed in cleared it up it said

" L Is Real 2407" its probably saying luigi might be in super mario 64 but then he turned out in the ds version

  • thats the fire emblem.

  • So wait..I want to make a Wario in Mario 64..So does that mean if I use this "Toad Tool" thing, I can make Wario myself? And if I can, would I be able to make Mario's stomach and arms larger to look more like Wario?

Reply whenever you can, buddy. :)

  • You could use Toad's Tool to edit the hat texture and Mario's colors, but you would need to use another tool or GS codes to edit Mario into Wario.

  • Oh, so I can do the clothes, and eyes, and Hat and stuff..But I'll need another tool to make him larger?(So to say) :P

  • You can make Mario larger too, but there's still no way to make him look like Wario; he'll still be in proportion.

  • I see..Thanks for telling me about this stuff, I think I understand it better now. :)

  • No problem. :)

  • Where did you got the Fire Emblem music?

  • It's a remake by the band "Entertainment System."

  • You are an awesome hacker, Keeperofall! :D

  • Thanks! :)

  • Did you colour Mario after K' from King Of Fighters or something?

  • Actually, Keeperofall

  • Oh. Teh K reminded me of K'.

  • are they really that easy???

  • Actually, yes, but you have to sacrifice an existing warp though.

  • but if they hadn´t been cut- would they be right where you showed?

  • No. I just put them at easy to reach places for this example.

  • how do you change the name of the stars?????

i'd really appreciate that for my new mario 64(check out mi trailler video for more info)

  • You need to get the SM64 Text Wrangler from the Toad's Tool site. This will allow you to edit all text in the game.

    Cool mod, by the way.

  • Fire Emblem?

  • Yep.

  • wow, u fucked everything right up in this vid

  • ...?

    wtf?

  • Very odd. Is there a place where I can get a Black market or Aftermarket cartridge ripper?

    Thx.

  • I don't know where you can get one specifically. Try searching Z64 or Doctor V64 on Google or ebay.

  • at 3:35 it looked like a half a black star

  • Interesting.

    Really interesting.

    Keep it up.

  • Did ya guys see the doors? They were smashed in!

  • omg mario scares me with hes red eyes

  • How do you do all this??

  • All with Toad's Tool 64. There is a link to it in the description to it if you're interested.

  • Do I need something besides toad's tool to do this????

  • You will also need a SM64 ROM file and the SM64 ROM extender found on the same site as Toad's Tool. I can't link to a ROM, because downloading ROM files is illegal.

  • Then how do I get it???

  • Downloading might be your only option. The only other way to get ROMs is to rip them yourself with a cartridge ripper. However, these are not in production anymore and are hard to find.

  • o well...... I guess I cant get it then.....

  • Sorry.

  • At the very least, you can download it on Wii.

  • I'm working on a very hard puzzle-oriented Mod of SM64 with Toad's Tool. Is there any way to add an object? (not change another into it?) I need many of the openable grills for a part of BoB, but there aren't many resources.

    Much appreciated.

  • Unfortunately no. The developer of Toad's Tool said adding objects would be added in a later version.

  • No worries, mate.

I've been making a very dumb error -- I've tried to create barriers with the openable grills when I should be using the much larger gate that is broken by the chain chomp.

  • The only problem with that might be if the player sets Chain Chomp free, they might all break.

  • It's worse than that...found out they're only solid one-way!

It'll make it harder on the player...they spend 5 minutes making a jump to get over it, then fall right back!

  • can someone help me on the warping? i put a warp pipe or somethng and it doesnt warp where i want it to go =p?

  • I didn't understand the blocks.

  • that is really interesting;;i watched it a few times and read your explanations and descriptions several times--i was amazed. mad props. by the way, i like how you redecorated...ha

  • Thanks. It took me about a week to figure this out. Anyway, thanks for the feedback.

(My brother acually did most of the textures.)

  • name of song ( i know its fire emblim)

just the name of the remix

  • This remix of the Fire Emblem theme is by Entertainment System.

  • I believe the song's called "Together, We Ride!" Or at least in Fire Emblem 7 that's what it's called.

  • So does this only work with the stars inside the boxes, or can the ones outside of boxes be used as well?

  • As long as you have the right warp point and exit, both work.

  • How do you know for sure these were the unused stars? I'm not being a jerk, but it looks like you just replaced actors? I can see why you would have to, in order to see them, but how do you know they aren't just "cloned" replacements?

    I'm seriously curious :P

  • You raise a good point. In almost every level there are 5 star box macro objects (combos 370-374). If they are used in one of the 15 main levels the stars will be clones of the world's stars. If used in another world, they will be counted as extra Castle Secret Stars. With a gameshark code, 60 extra Castle Secret Stars can be aquired. These facts leave me to believe that these are the unused stars.

  • Huh, interesting.

  • My technical jargon in this field is practically non-exsistant, but I can still understand what you're saying if you get a tad complicated. After re-reading your explanation a few times, couldn't the "castle secret star" setting be default for any star which is placed somewhere and has no "objective" (star name) tagged to it?

I guess not, since these particular stars used to make the game freeze huh? That would indicate that they were NOWHERE anyway right?

  • All of these stars are counted as Castle Secret Stars, but not all of these stars used to make the game freeze. The areas where the game freezes are Bowser Worlds and the Castle Courtyard/Grounds. The main problem is that a sucessful exit warp point had never been specified. In addition to that problem, the Castle Courtyard/Grounds can't use a sucessful exit point, because there is no set objective data.

  • Yes, stars were not accessible in the original game, but Nintendo could have had plans for those stars. Just like they could only create 15 main worlds due to lack of time, I'm going to assume that Nintendo knew they could not use the stars, so they didn't bother adding support for some the unused stars.

  • i like your costume mod.

  • Thanks.

  • Nice find!

So I guess that the problem with adding stars to levels that normally didn't have stars is the "successful exit" warp defined... And to get a secret star you have to leave the star object parameter as 0?

  • Thanks.

I didn't have to change any star parameters for this to work, just some warps and warp locations.

Great job on Toad's Tool, by the way.
