  • I like this, we all need to learn more to understand better. That is God's gift to us understanding.

  • @Jevitt0987 You need to look deeper in your faith. Do research and you will see that the Catholic church is the true church that god established...

  • @asylum56 AMEN!

    God bless!

The one true, holy and apostolic church is the Catholic faith. Not some fragmented 40,000 denominations, based on the ideas of men stemming from the 16th century. God bless

  • @asylum56 So why was his son a Jew? - allegedly.

  • That's wonderful, Dr Ray! What a great point about God's providence in protecting the Church from error!

  • thanks for the video

  • ah yee yanks go way over board with religion

  • @redbiddy500 I guess that's why Europe is doing so good letting the Muslims take over our Christian homelands. We'll watch from America until you people get in trouble again and need us to clean up your mess!!! Peace from New York!

  • HAHAHA

    Great !!!!!

  • And yet you don't site any medical science and I do. Now tell me, how does that work?

Dr. Ray Guarendi has a radio show on week days at noon on wdeo(dot)net. You can call in and challenge his position. How about you do so. Can I expect to hear you on monday?

  • So kbarr,

Have you done some reading yet? Does the pill cause abortions?

  • So kbarr,

Have you done some reading yet? Does the pill cause abortions?

  • Now about men in red hats trying to get into your bedroom. Those men are less concerned about what you do in your own time with your own free will. They are more concerned with people lying to people, or being ignorant of the truth.

If the men in red hats announced that 2+2=4 would you raise a fuss about the church trying to get into our kid's math books?

You should really apologize because not only are you wrong but you're trying to spin the Church as being ignorant of science.

  • I will not accuse your OB of lying because she could just be ignorant of the facts. I will however accuse you of being lazy in the matter. All you have to do is search "How The Pill Works" and you can get the facts from non catholic sites (since that is an issue for you).

Everywhere you read "prevents fertilized eggs from implanting into the wall of the uterus" you are reading about a chemical abortion.

  • Well then my wife's OBGYN is lying as well.

The scientific proof is out there kbarr. There's no lying going on. You should take back your statement.

Or maybe my wife and I need to change doctors and religions.

  • If so ask yourself, why did the bishops of Greece asked the bishop of Rome to intervene in the problems in Corinth(Greece) when the only apostole still alive "St John" was also living in Greece(Patmos) and was very active in the teachings of church, after all St John walked the earth with our LORD.

I recommend that you read John's epistles and the epistle that St Clemente I sent the Corinthians.

  • I watched that on EWTN. Very inspirational.

  • I don't care what denomination you are but, John Paul II once said "We will win with Love" only with love for others can we carry on Gods message. No other man Tried to build tolerance in all religions quite like JPII he had the heads of all faiths come to the vatican only the Muslims did'nt show up but JPII went to a mosque. what a guy!

  • Agreed. JPII was an excellent pope.

  • Ummm...the Catholic Church was always against artificial birth control...

  • Yup, you are right. Dr. Ray is saying that it's a good thing the Church has always been against it. When the Pill came out, it was thought to prevent ovulation. Now we know better.

  • What I mean is that aside from the Matthew reference to Peter, all those other teachings apply to all his followers, not only Catholics. Don't be like Peter, trying to hog all God's love (GJn 21:20-23).

  • True, the verses apply to ALL Jesus' followers. At the time, though, weren't ALL of His followers the same "denomination?" You may also want to reread John 10:16 (one shepard)

  • Now wait a minute. I listen to the Catholic decision on issues and never really disagree about morals but I'm a Protestant. You should know that Jesus never mentioned 'the Church'. You have interpreted it to mean that, and then justified yourselves by this interpretation. I think he was speaking to all of his followers present and future.

  • well for a moment forget dogma,, Matthew 16:16-19 Jesus told Peter after putting him in charge states "whatever you bind on earth shall be bond in heavean and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven" Later he said the gates of hell will not prevail over it (the church). So, to say that the Catholic church is false,,, your calling Jesus a liar! (and thats not Good) GOD BLESS HIS CATHOLIC CHURCH!

  • Jesus in Matthew 16 establish his church by giving Peter, and his successors the keys of the kingdom.

In Isaiah 22:19 we see that Hezekiah was at the time, the king over Israel, like all kings in the ancient world had, as kings and queens have these days, cabinet officers, a cabinet of royal ministers. Like Tony Blair was the Prime Minister, so there are other ministers under the Queen in Great Britain. Only one minister is given the keys(authority) of the kingdom.

  • The facts of Catholic Dogma can be traced to the words of Christ, which is like at the beginning of the dogma. Christ says in Matthew 16:18 that hell has no chance against the Church's teachings. In John 16:13 he gives the Church power to declare what is sin or not. In John 20:23 Jesus declares that the Holy Spirit will lead the Church into ALL truth...not some truth. Those are facts of what Christ declared about the Church, and they have always been part of the Church's dogma.
